When a playerbase of the opposite faction has its vulnerability time you get to see some types of terminals,

"yours" is the Uplink.... just choose Jam Uplink from the radial.

Then guess away

I am grinding out BH right now and only have the last 3 boxes of invest left. Someone told me that i could go to opposing faction bases and jam the signals to get 1k bh xp each. Is this true? And if so, how do I do it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

are you going to try to take down the entire base?

if your intention are to just jam the base to get xp, you no different than the afk grinders....

I dont think jamming the base for xp is anything like afk grinders.

You should've waited and banked 10k BH xp first before you trained your boxes, that way you could have gotten easy BH missions until you had enough xp for Inv 1, Inv 2 and half of Inv 3. Other than that, yes you can go to opposing faction bases and jam the uplink and you'll get 1k xp each time...but in my opinion it's better to go ahead and do the missions because you'll bank some money in the process. Taking down a base by yourself takes some time if your not a powerful combat class so you just have to try it and see if it's worth it. And I don't agree with the previous poster about the whole "afk grinder" thing...one has nothing to do with the other.

If a base is vulnerable you can find a Uplink Terminal in the base. Just walk inside a base and do /target uplink to check if its vulnerable. Jamming the uplink is really easy you just pick numbers between 1 and 10 and eventually its jammed.

Best bet is to just look for PvE forward outpost bases since you will be able to solo any npc's it has. (You can tellthe differencebetween PvE and PvP bases because only PvE bases have NPC's that spawn on the outside of the base)

If you are Rebel do /find imperial. If you are Imperial do /find rebel. That will give you a waypoint to the closest opposing faction base.

how is that different than justarea attacking a lair pre cu with buffs and comp for XP? Its different from AFK grinding because he has to be ATK and also has to deal with the NPC spawns at the base.

For the OP you need to be a combatant and go to a PvE base, get inside through the NPCs, find the uplink terminal and then jam it through the radial menu like this:

"First person to slice is the Bounty Hunter on the Uplink Terminal: He will have to walk up next to the uplink to begin the process of jamming the uplink. Open up the radial menu and click on the jam uplink. When you begin your jamming process you will see a set of number 1-10. (Make sure that your system messages is enabled in your options)I would recommend you pick 5 at this point because it’s in the middle. You will get a system message that tells you’re too higher or lower. If it were lower I'd choose 3. If it were higher I'd choose 8. As you can see you will eliminate the time if you keep narrowing it down as quick as possible. Once you find the right number you will have to rinse and repeat this method. You will get 1000 xp and a successful slice when you’re finished." --- From the GCW Forum sticky.

"

You can do this for PvP bases as well but only during vuln times and there may be other PCs there defending. You will need to be special forces enabled to jam a PvP base uplink terminal.
