As it is currently set up you can only buff each stat once with food, so for example take some blob candy for +170 action regen, a bofa treat +170 health regen, and a spiced tea for +170 mind regeneration for a total fill ~33 for 45 minutes. These can stack with a single spice so popping a Neutron pixie will add +20% health, +20% health regen, +20% action regen, -20% mind regen for 15 mins followed by a small downer time. However you could not add a food like Teltier noodles which adds +170 health and +100 action regen as you would be stacking the action regens.
Hope this helps

Gracos this is one of my weakest points (understanding what food does) I was away for a while. Thanks for a simple clear post, before this i was just popping Neutorn Pixie and Brandy.

Excuse me if I get the names wrong... can't log in at the moment to double check.
Vagnerian Canape and Venarian Brandy gives both a buff to theHAM totals and buffs to the regen rates. I use Booster Blue for Mind regen, because I depend a lot on my healing in a longer fight.
I'd also suggest Crispic, Air Cake, and Vegeparsine(sp?) for attack/defence stats. Thaktil increases your healing efficiency, but I can never fit it into my belly.

I like to use booster blue instead of neutron pixie because im a mcm/mbh. Its the same stats but instead of the mind penalty its got a health one. Using all the cm specials takes alot of mind, and with the right foods you can pretty much nullify the health regen penalty. Blue allows me to have enough mind to heal and blast poisons and fire and whatnot. Although i just got a +25 medical warfor efficiency tape, it seriously lowers the mind cost, so i may actually switch back to pixie.

booster blue is definately better than pixie if you have any medic in your template...
and a question... for regen buffs is it better to get a food like mando wine that will buff multiple stats or just food that will buff 1 stat and use those?

The best varies a lot, the foods i listed above are not neccessarily the greatest stat boosters but they give a good boost for 45 minutes. there are a whole slew of foods that give a great boost for 10 minutes such as
Breath of Heaven (Drink): H: +400, HR: +200, AR: +200, MR: +50
Mandalorian Wine (Drink): H: +400, HR: +50, AR: +200, MR: +200
Vercupti (Food): H: +400, HR: +200, AR: +50, MR: +200
Mandalorian Wine (Drink): H: +400, HR: +50, AR: +200, MR: +200
Vercupti (Food): H: +400, HR: +200, AR: +50, MR: +200
Personally i like the 45 minute stuff, but i can definitely see the benifit in the big boost short duration foods especially right before a jedi fight. Usually i add defensive/accuracy/healing foods just before a fight and i leave room for Ruby Bliel(15 fill) which allows you to take a stimpack immediately afterwards, so you can as many stims as you want with as much belly room as you have.
Other foods:
Cavaellian Creams 45-70 Incap time reduction
Citrus Snow Cake +40 Healing efficiency
Deuterium Pyro +200 ranged acc 16 fill, 1min
Crispic +50 melee acc, +40 ranged acc 16fill, 17 min
Exo-Protein wafers +21 mitigation bonus, 5 fill, 22min
Parwan Nutricake Instant Burstrun

There is a lot to know about foods , you should really take a look at some of the sticky's in the chef forums.
