I'm a master BH; no way im giving that up for any other skill but how about:
Master Bounty Hunter
Novice Commando (to be able to use Launcher Pistol)
Pistoleer 4043
?
Or alternatively
Master Bounty Hunter
Novice Commando (same reason)
Smuggler 0040 (Feign death and all the specials)
Pistoleer 0041 (The best shots and the defenses)
Or
Master Bounty Hunter
Commando 3040 (Launcher Pistol, Flame Thrower and grenade speed and accuracy - I hear it's the one thing jedis are not immune to)
Smuggler 0040 (Feign death etc.)
What do you guys think?

I personally would not go the route of the commando. You really gain no benefits from it. I'd rather go Master Pistoleer and get all the defenses and pistol speed and accuracy mods. Plus you can use a DE-10. I have one that with a power up has max damage of 558. Even with a speed of 4.0 on it I still hit the speed cap of 1.0 on ALL specials because of my speed mods.

Ithink that once you have achieved Master Bounty Hunter, you are left with only 33 skill points.
first template:
Master Bounty Hunter
Novice Commando (to be able to use Launcher Pistol)
Pistoleer 4043
33 skill points is NOT enough to get Novice Commando (15 points for Novice Brawler, 14 more to get Unarmed IV, 6 to get Novice Commando, you are 2 points short)
Skipping the Novice Commando, you have enough points to get a lvl 4 and a lvl 3 in Pistoleer
second template:
Master Bounty Hunter
Novice Commando (same reason)
Smuggler 0040 (Feign death and all the specials)
Pistoleer 0041 (The best shots and the defenses)
Same thing here, not enough points for Novice Commando, andthe same applies to Smuggler (15 points for Novice Brawler, 14 more to get Unarmed IV, 6 to get Smuggler, you are 2 points short).
Same as above for Pistoleer.
third template:
Master Bounty Hunter
Commando 3040 (Launcher Pistol, Flame Thrower and grenade speed and accuracy - I hear it's the one thing jedis are not immune to)
Smuggler 0040 (Feign death etc.)
Nope.
It is my understanding that whatever skills you have, you MUST maintain ALL prerequisites. So you can't drop anything from Scout or Marksman without first giving up Bounty Hunter. So you just need to decide if you want to be a Bounty Hunter or a Commando.

ChipDawg,
I'm not flaming, but I would guess by your post count that you just purchased this game or are just returning from a break. The requirement for master scout has been dropped. You only need 4/0/0/0 in Scout for Bounty Hunter.

Well, that certainly changes things. Yes, just came back from a 2 month break. So when i get home from work I'll have to take another look at this, and rethink my build as well, thank you.

but the remainder of those points are taken up by the pistoleer skills already chosen - leaving 33 remaining (from what I can tell - can't remember an online prof calc...)

If you go PvE sure commando is a viable choice.....but if you want to pvp or god forbid jedihunt....pistoleer is a better bet..........

Thanks for all the input guys. Here is the template I did in the end:
Master BH (Can't seem to let go of that for some reason)
Pistoleer 0043
Smuggler 0040
With this template, I get all the specials of smuggler, including feign death (which is a life saver); last ditch is the most damaging pistol shot in the game and also all the pistol specials (the nice ones like fan shot and stopping shot). I had to give up the first and second trees of pistoleer, so I can't dodge anymore; but with feign death, I don't have to as much.
What do you think?

I am a master commando and let me tell you, the accuracy and HAM costs on the grenades aren't worth it. You don't get GOOD with them until you master and get that last +40 to thrown weapon accuracy. And the only two good grenades to utilize are Thermal Detonators and Proton Grenades. A good slice on a decent Proton can yeild near 4000 max damage 'nades. Granted these will only do about 800-1000 to a player, but they are nice.
And the Launcher Pistol is nice, but it's hard to find a good one on my server. I have some really old ones I take out only when I'm hunting players.
