What can I use to prevent getting KD in the first place? Is getting impossible to find slice tools the only way to counter Armor Break? I checked the vendors are lowca and to slice a full set of ubese armor it will cost me like 8 million for the tools + a smugglers slicing fee + my armor suit. Almost 10 million for a suit of armor that will break in 3 weeks. Not good, not good at all.
Counter to Knockdown and Armor Break attacks is your defense. The higher your defense, the higher the chances of the attack missing. If the attack misses, you dont get the state, either. So Duelist Stance, CoB and defense food work wonders.

I remember preCU there was a resist KD modifer and foods that resisted KD. Did they remove this?

These mods were removed because it made Defense stackers impossible to state. This lead them to be unbeatable unless a CM would show up with some uber poisons that bypasses all that junk. Even my Jedi Knight had a very hard time with them because I could not dizzy nor K/D them.

I havent seen any serious testing on the matter, but common consensus seems to be that Defense vs. X tapes dont work anymore since the skills themselves got taken from the professions.

The question is: What happens if you only slice the body and head part of your armor?
When I had to use Armor right after CU went live those 2 pieces had the worst decay-rate, therefor took the most hits.
So, where does the system register AB? Random or fixed location?
But I doubt you have to get a full set (except gloves/boots) sliced... we only need some1 to test it, hehe.
And the KD... with the right food/buff/spice combo it shouldnt be that much of a prob. You can only be KD'ed every what? 60 secs? Sure, its like 1-2 attacks wasted but ranged has KD, too (Carbiner and BH itself?). So..., its about even. IMHO

That's it, only 50 million. Mine is definetly in the 75-100 million dollar range lol.
The price we pay to get a 700+ damage saber with 11 FC.

yes we are you can but 1 adk kit on your saber but we need 9 adks to put on are armour 10 mill + adks.
mmmmmm what is easier to get the perfect saber or a full good suit of armour, that last for 3 weeks with slices for AB and adks ::::
i say saber easy

Well this is exactly what I'm doing with my BH. I have 6 ADK's right now, since I have two cyber arms I only need 3 lol.
Think about it like this though, sure Jedi does not have to pay for slices/multiple adks/armor......but that is because we get no armor certs. If the devs would only give Jedi armor. At this point I think that it's going to start being a balance issue that Jedi do not get armor certs like everyone else. Taking Master Defender is like taking MTK for non-Jedi. Give all Jedi the ability to choose armor or Master Defender (just like non-Jedi) IMO has to happen eventually. Then your point about not having to worry about armor will be gone since all Jedi will be buying armor again.

Well u could use mabari armour, since all the hit location r covered by the chest plate, leggings and helm. 3ADKs aint bad for a full suit of jedi-hunting armour.

Most Jedi either have LS 0404 or MLS.
LS 0404 gets one targeted attack: Head Hit.
All non-targeted attacks seem to land more often on the chest than on any other armor part.
Based on that information, you are most likely to get hit on the head or the chest and protecting those from Armor Break will go a long way.

Oh please dont even attempt that. Gettiong that perfect ADK saber is easy? MM, how do you think i looted all those pearls pre-CU? I went out and killed krayts for hrs on end with my alt. That alt happened to wear armour, 90% kinetic base armour. Lets not even consider that even after 50 flawless, you still could not have a perfect saber, due to random tunes. You think that was free? It cost just as much to assemble the suit of comp that let me farm krayts as it did to assemble the suit of armour you want to come kill a Jedi.
Stop complaining, if all you have to worry about is getting together a suit of armour then i say your life is easy. Grind the cash and move on.

The armourbreak does not have a hit location ... but my guess would be the following:
Armourbreak = a state - so the hitlocation of the armour break itselfis irrelevant - the relevant part to protect is the parts that is targeted following the AB.
If a jedi can make armour break - he has at least LS x2xx - that is the reason of >90% of jedis have LS x4xx.
All jedis with armourbreak have headhit and therefore your first priority would be your helmet to have: armourbreakslice, 4 sockets for SEA's, and an ADK on it. (my guess is that an absolute minimum of 50% of all jedis have headhit as their absolute most powerfull attack - 25% MSL, 25% idealist more concerned about looks than damage and the rest LS x4xx - often LS x4x4 for KD)
The master LS will do 2 of the following hits in cycles: body, leg or headhit. Once in a while in between he will do Saber sweep for KD (think random hitlocation), saberthrow for KD (think random hitlocation) and powerblow for max damage while you are KD'ed (think random hitlocation). = you need to have slices on all your parts.
