Killed me last night. After chasing the Jedi around Dath for an hour it is a bit frustrating.

You think thats bad ? How about "you can't improved leg shot while in combat". I just went away from the computer after i got that message.

I don't think I have ever been lucky enough to experience this bug but I do know that what usually happens to me is I'll be kiting as usual hitting my specials and then notice the message that I can't use that command while knocked down. This is while I'm still running. I can see the KD animation on me(red heart rate thing) while I'm running for a good couple of seconds. Lag. If I hit KDR while I'm still running it won't do anything or queue. I have to wait until I finally actually fall down and then I can hit KDR and I will immediately stand up. So I kind of anticipate this now and just hold off doing anything until my toon actually falls and then hit KDR followed immediately with either a heal or attack depending on my heath status. I haven't really noticed taking additional damage during this lag period so I don't think I am any more vulnerable during that time than I would be if I fell down at the same time the KD message appears. Anyway, don't know if that is any help to you. Maybe you could try waiting until you actually fall down to hit KDR if you aren't doing so already.

I got the same bug just now fighting a Jedi. Of course the Jedi's saber sucked though and I pounded him hard afterward. But lo' and behold He roots, runs to the STarport Terminal (we were fighting in the starport) and at the last second I get a shot off...
but wait he still flies out... while in combat... 4:36 in the AM with no one else around. I then tried to send out a droid to track him and... Wow not online, even though my F list says otherwise.

Yep there is still a bug with this. Was stalking a mark just now, got to his initial planet and I am tabbing trying to get a target. I eventually do but he takes off planet.. was able to get his name, place him on my buddy list and he shows online. Run out to throw a probe and I get target offline, ...

How about this bug. I am hunting a Jedi tonight, I see her and she ports. That bites, but at least she doesn't know I am after her. I go to Kash, just in case. Since I'd rather catch her in Kash's starport then go somewhere else and have to look for her in an instance. anyway, I land on Kash and my computer crashes and then im getting all these DLL errors and I have to reinstall windows. Cool huh?

/agree this freaking sux, i ALMOST had a full template jedi today... we fought for a long A time and then he kded me and i had my action over half full and he kded me my health was full, and said cannot use knockdown recovery while knocked down... pissed me off cuz i wuz winning...

I feel your pain my friend. While it hasn't happened to me in awhile I've had it happen enough to know it SUCKS !!!!

Give it a second after you get "You've been knocked down" message and activate KD recovery ONCE. Even if you don't get a visual confirmation that you're actually standing up right away,do not spam it !
I'm not gonna say it's impossible to happen, but itis highly unlikely to happen only to certain characters, it's the same code and everyone should get this bug, but I never got this message, for example.

I have screenshots wherein I DIDN'T spam KD recovery and I still didn't get up. After dealing with this for fight after fight after fight I have decided that "spamming" has little effect on a successful recovery.

It's become a race to see who can knock down whom first from the look of it. I haven't had this bug affect me like what I have been reading from you guys. I manage to get up every time, although it takes a few seconds longer than I'd like.There does seem to be a few seconds of lag between the animations though.
