Is it possible to pull Elite/Boss marks without any investigation (Novice BH) if you are still CL 80 yourself?

im novice atm, my latest mark was level 82 with gold triangle marks. you tell me that isnt a boss mark

im 2444 bh , master rifles and medic 323X , you tell me how i can pull 3 boss marks in a row , because i cant understand it

That's a boss, all right. How did you get a level 80 mission at Novice? I've done 25 missions since yesterday and got ONE boss. It was a tough fight, and the loot was uber, but I'd take this as a sign that they are still pretty rare for CL80 MBHs.

My template is, 0110 bounty hunter, master squad leader, master pistoleer.
I have had 3 82 gold marks, quite a few 81 silver marks plus normal ones.

My first 3 where BOSS, next one regular, next one Elite then another Boss.. etc etc. They dont seem that rare to me.

I hate you GRRRRRRR. Thats awesome though. I did about 30 missions and only got one boss mark. Although I did loot +185 damage, -.75 speed, -7 sac mark tissues.

I have confirmed that pulling boss/elite marks is possible without a single box of investigation, standing in cnet near terms/informant and pulling missions getting waypoints without even having to use droids can generate boss and elites, with lower health and lower damage then at MBH, my boss mark had under 20k HAM and went down like an elite still producing a nice loot.

"The higher the level of the Bounty Hunter increases the chance of seeing a higher level or Elite Mark. Master Bounty Hunters who are also greater than level 75 will have a small chance to draw a Boss Mark. The difficulty of the Mark will determine the quality of loot and chance of the loot to drop."

Are there any Master Bounty Hunters that don't have Investigation IV?
