Thread: MBH/MCM

Thinking of changing my template a bit from MBH/MCarb/MMarks to MBH/MCM...my question is, if I go this route and throw skill points at the Marksman pistols line, i'm left with 13 skillpoints. Does it make sense to throw those skillpoints in the Medic's Medical Support line (could fill 3 boxes) or would it be put to better use somewhere else like marksman's Carbine tree?


Just looking for suggestions. I've got a bit of time because I want to get the new 'newbie' badges before I start on medic again (for the third time).

id do carb tree, with mcm, you dont need anymore in healing

if you plan to use pistols then you can take mbh/mcm/pistol 0004 or if you plan to use carbines then you should go mbh/mcm/carbs 0400. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the speedy reply. That was kind of what I was thinking after looking at the ProfCalc stats, but CM is one profession I'd never tried so the feedback is welcomed.


Anyone else?

MBH, MCM, Pistoleer 0/0/0/3, Medic 0/4/2/0

This works great against many Jedi templates. To date I have yet to kill a MLS....but given the new armor slices I'm getting done today...this is gonna be fun. As for other Jedi templates, killed them before....IF they don't eventually run (I love it when a fully templated Jedi tries to cloak or FR). I don't win them all, but the even the ones I DO lose to send me tells like "great fight" or "best fight I've had in a long time".

My advice....if you ARE going to take MCM find a DAMN good weapon first. To take this profession gimps your damage output a lot. My best weapons stats are for a pistol, and even then they are only:

Speed = 66
Accuracy = 143

You will get pretty good defenses, both are over 200 (base). The idea behind the MCM profession, debuff them down to your level, and wear them out. YOu just have to keep track of all your debuffs, never let the fire go out....and if I were you, also check your server for a good supplier of enhancers. My server only has ONE...he makes stuff no one else can touch. I went to go get supplies yesterday, and I didn't see his name on the vendor sign. I about died right there because I thought he quit. Lucky for all the CMs on my server he doesn't jack up the prices even though he is the ONLY player who can do what he does.

Find the foods and spices that work for YOUR game play. FIND THAT WEAPON as well. Try to focus on the damage and make up the speed with PUPs and phalange intensification.

The Devs just need to do something about Advanced Infect....it's a Master Box Speical and to be honest, it HAS to be the most worthless special in the game. Hell, I'd trade it for Leathal Shot in a second, and that's a Master Marksman skill.

I definitely agree with Turcheck about the Pistol 3, stopping shot is a must

I just switched to this template and for some reason i'm having so much fun now. Prior to being MBH/MCM/Pistols ---4, I was MM/MP/MBH/Carbines -4--. I definitely agree with TuCheck. He pretty much summed up everything I had to learn on my own. well put.
