Today i had the hardest most tactical pve fight ive ever had and it was the most fun like ever.
First off heres my template - master smuggler/master pistoleer with the investigation tree
I pull a mission and have to go to fight my mark on Yavin, luckly he waiting for me at the labour outpost and is one mean elite dude so this will take some work.
I pop my pikatta pie and have my accuracy drink thingie and hit him with overwhelming shot,intimidate, low blow and warning shot and then start hitting him with body shot though im taking major damage even with duelist stance running so i use concussion shot for a break and to take a stim shot.
I swap from my trando suppression pistol to my trandoshan hunters rifle and run 50m back so i can hit him with stopping shot because i doubt he has anything which can hit me form over there, but i hit him and the root doesnt stick so i use burst run and start kitting him for a bit keeping him out of range.
After a while im taking major damage and my pikata pie is starting to run out im on my last stim shot, so i hit may last stim shot and continue to drop states to slow him down and to reduce his damage.
During the fight i get so desperate i generate a bomb droid from my inventory (fyi ive never used one before and have no idea how to use it) and way i get close to him and detonate the thing, unfortunately the only thing it killed a low level npc walking past us as we fought.
I notice his health is getting really low but also mine is even lower and ive only got a little bit of health yet and 2 good hits will incap me and im out of tactics, then i look at the button i dread to use its the button which has made me fall down dead many times but now it was the only choice i had.
I whack last ditch............................. BANG mission complete as i hit this sob for over 5k damage and leaving me with no HAM left and nothing but a sense of satisfaction.
These new marks are much better than the ones when i was a master BH this was the most fun ive had pve'ing in a good long time the fight was so close that either of us could have won at any time though using daze to recover and use stims was important and last ditch finaly proved its worth.
Blixtev i salute you ive had the most fun ive had for a long time and of course once you kill the mark you have a chance of looting something worth the effort which makes the missions deserve their difficulty.

I had one using Charge shot on me and KDing me every chance he got, bastards are getting smarter haha.

Same here. KD every 35 seconds or so, like clockwork. Sucks that npc's don't have to spend action on specials.

Using bomb droids aint that easy tried a few times now and have yet to be successful, but the fun part is trying right

I noticed that the silver chevon 18k marks were using action, I was shocked.

If they fixed stun we would have an excellent tool against these guys but i dont see that happening in the near future.
