I am a Rifleman and I use Mind a lot. I usually use a spice that adds 500 to Mind, focus and Willpower for 600 seconds. I dont like the downer so I was looking through the foods and the best I could find was the Entrees 2/Prmachek which gives +50 to Mind focus and willpower for 100 seconds.

I thought this was pretty gay seeing that Theres a Masters food/drink that gives 150 to each of Health Str Con for like 400 seconds......Isnt there somethign like this for Mind? Or are devs *fixing* this class also.

Thanks in advance for your inputa and time.

The stats you are looking at are for un-experimented versions of the food & drink. There are a lot of food/drink from both Domestic Arts and Chef that can buff your Mind, Focus and Willpower (though Ormachek's the only one that can do all three), and don't forget you can stack them. You can get at least 2 food & 2 drink buffs going at the same time.

Ice Blasters buff your Willpower for a decent amount (I think I can get mine up to about 90-95, but can't remember the duration). Just make sure the food you're getting has been experimented on, don't go by the stats that are listed. Oftentimes these can be at least doubled by a good chef.

All chef foods are basically bunk without experimentation, but with some decent tweaking you can come up with pretty good stuff. I have a Medic friend who uses mind constantly, and I always keep him supplied with food to help him out. Since I'm BORED at work here's a list of the foods I know of that buff the blue bars:

Mind: Ruby Bliel, Charde, Veronian Berry Wine, Ormachek, Ramorrean Capanata, Bivoli Tempari, Glazed Glucose Pate

Focus: Spiced Tea, Caf, Ormachek, Gruuvan Shaal, Braised Canron, Ryshcate, Corellian Fried Ice Cream, Glazed Glucose Pate

Willpower: Ice Blaster, Exo-Protein Wafers, K-18 Rations, Teltier Noodles, Veghash, Ormachek, Vegeparsine, Dweezel

My new favorite is Ramorrean Capanata, which i've gotten to about +150 mind for about 13 minutes (at Cooking II). I also use a lot of Ormacheck, as it buffs all 3 stats, though the buff is pretty short. I tend to eat Ormacheck when my mind is low froma particularly intensehealing sessionand I need a quick boost to regen. I plan to stay filled on Capanata from now on every time I go out to hunt.

Note that the higher level chef buffs tend to fill you more - sometimes you can eat just one serving.

My new "wow is that stupid" is Rakririan Burnout Sauce, which hits my focus so badly it makes it go negative! I did try to heal someone with negative focus and I still can. My next quest will be toeat negative mind foodwith low mind to incapacitate myself!

This is with Entrees IV, Mixology II. So I haven't played with all lines completely yet.

Yes train ASAP. Droid speed is a little slower (bug that will be fixed in the next publish). But, mission payout goes from 16.5K to 22.7K. So you get a pretty sizable increase in payout and XP, and the missions probably take less time because your seekers provide you with a couple of updates, not just one.

Hey guys,

I am a TKM and 0404 in smuggler(I am going to master it). I also want some pistoleer skills to complement my template but I am not sure if it is wise to master pistoleer and drop novice medic and scout 4000 to do so.

I am sure many ppl have been faced with this decision before and I was wondering what you chose and why.

Also will it gimp me in PVP(I've done it once since July and lost of course lol) if I don't have medic to heal myself and scout for terrain negotiation.

Thanks in advance

keep the meds drop the scout. Meds will help in the long run scout is just to pasive to help you now.

Life is but a gamble and I have weighted dice.
Master Smuggler and master TKA maybe master pistoleer but who knows how long it will before I finally switch from unarmed.

I think thats what i am going to do. Ditching scout would let me do 3 full trees in Pistoleer.

Thanks for your help baslisks

BTW I think I am gonna master them all I already gave up scout and its not so bad
