Thread: Feign Death question

I ran into a Jedi today thatFeigned Deathon me. I have heard that a posture change attack will somewhat counter this. I was wondering if detonating a bomb droid next to the mark, would break them out of Feign also?
Any ideas?
PS..I didn't think of trying it until AFTER I shuttled away

I forgot to mention...
This was the 4th mark that I have tracked to The WARREN (in a matter of 2 buff sessions) Anyone else notice that this is turning into their favorite grinding spot as of lately? I got my mark just ashewas talking to the Escapee 
Got his swoop, he ran. I did Torso shot and Bleeding shot with my DE-10 before he Feigned.

If it works it would be funny as hell watching them lay on the ground counting down the timer on the boom toaster.

To my knowledge, as I don't pvp and haven't cared to test this, a player can DB another player who's feigned even if they're at full health. This is the latest change they did to feign death to counter BH/Jedi greifing. *shakes fist at both professions*
BH wails on Jedi. Jedi feigns and goes to watch a movie and chat on guild. BH is screwed.
BH shoots Jedi once then feigns. Repeat process every 5 minutes so Jedi is never out of lockdown.
Next time it happens just try dbing them.

feign death no longer works. just shoot them till incapp and you will be able to DB them. feign only works in PvE, as it should be.

Well then, something wasn't quite right.
I ran up to the mark and tried to Deathblow..target wasn't incapped. I layed in a few more shots and nothing happened. He laid there, targeted, taking no damage.
Exploit we don't know about?

Not likely. Most likely that you just don't see the damage. Back when a lot of jedi used FD, you could still spam specials to damage them. You just didn't the numbers but their HAM will conintue to drop. And FD won't work in PVP. You should have been able to keep pounding away on him, incap and DB.
