Interesting lil project...But WTH does this have to do with Squad Leader?As for SLs having "strong ties" to Mandalorians? You know what I'm not gonna even waste my time on that one.

This belongs on the BH wish list. We have more pressing mattersto deal with in our profession than discussing some advanced tree of BHs which will never see the light of day. Jeez! BH, jedi and a whole slew of profs are getting all the love, for the past couple publishes. Lets share the "devs attention span" across the profession boards.

Then of course you would need to unlock your mandolorian character. Then, you would need a village of the last remaining Mandolorians. Then, you could wait for 3 weeks to unlock a new MS (mando skill) until you have 6 (which you can never get rid of). Finally, after you grind millions of xp to fill all of those you can do a series of quests then become a Novice Mando.


Then of course they would have to do this for at least all the hybrid professions and stuff.



I think it would be cool, but it will never happen.

Darth Silly, The Mandalorians are a race, just as the Sith are a race. But the Mandalorains raised humans, very few, to be Mandalorian. Jango Fett's Mandalorian blood died out pretty much, since he was a decendant of Cassus Fett. But he was more human. So they raised him and trained him.

You think it was much different for Mandalorians? There was never millions of Mandalorians running around to fight the Republic Army. They had less soldiers, but they were stronger. And yet, even being on the smaller side, the mandalorians still nearly destroyed the republic. Your case has now been destroyed.

I still don't see what makes you think SL's would be interested in that class build you posted.. You've just created a "Super Bounty Hunter".. Great, that's wonderful. But post it in the BH forums, not here.

On the rare chance that a redname does visit our forum and look around, we want it full of SL-related stuff.

I'd love the idea of a Mandalorian class. Mandalorians and Jedi have always been big rivals. Instead of having to rely on enhanced abilites and force powers, Mandalorians won by using brute force and raw fire power. Knights of the Old Republic showed how much of a threat they were before.Since this game isn'ttrue to the timeline with all the Jedi running around anyways, I think this should be somethinghighly considered down the road. Just make it accessibleby something similar to the village quests and such.

Damn, you guys sure are a pissy bunch lately! I thought that idea was kind of cool. Ridiculously far-fetched, but certainly worthy of further discussion and exploration. I have always wondered what the developers were thinking when they specified Squad Leader as one of the only professions certified to wear Mandalorian armor. They must have had a reason for it. What's the harm in pursuing it? Cut the guya littleslackand let him run with it. Maybe help him refine his vision instead of dismissing it outright.

Besides, it's not likesome random developer is actually going to wander in here to read this thread, think that heaccidentally stumbled across the Mandalorian forum, and leave under the mistaken impression that all is rosy in Squad Leader land.
