I have yet to try it but does startle shot really get jedi out of FD or was this a hopeful rumour? Also, whats the doc command that gets them out of FD, i took a doc with me before and he was healing states but didnt get nothing.

I dont no about that, but if you keep them stunned or dizzy or blind, they can't use it, or so i've heard.

stun/dizzy/blind doesn't affect FD. The only thing you can do to prevent them is use a posture down or KD.
I don't think a Doc can "heal" FD, jedi can get a special that heals states including feign.
I hear statle broke FD at one point but doesn't anymore.

I stand corrected. A carbineer friend of mine told me that, but he could have been mistaken. I haven't tried it myself

It will fixed in the upcoming CU. That's my quess. But I doubt it. I fore see another Jedi revamp.

Depends on what Level... I havent been able to do it yet... but I heard if you KD them or Posture Down on them, they cant FD since it has to be from standing up

Depends on what Level... I havent been able to do it yet... but I heard if you KD them or Posture Down on them, they cant FD since it has to be from standing up
yes, they have to be standing in order for it to work.

doctors and master healers can "cure" FD, and i think posture up still can, but dont quote me on that. And i am pretty sure that Stun and KD both do prevent it from happening.
posture up is still broke, you can quote Tanks if you like 
FD is not affected by stun, KD works because you must be standing in order to feign. See the smuggler FAQs.
The Doc FAQ only says they can heal only blindness, stun, dizzy, intimidate, have you seen a Doc heal FD for your self?

i'll admit, i'm a smuggler, but i'm also a bh and a commando.. i've been a smuggler for a while...
here's what i know
you CAN NOT fd when kd'd
states do not effect fd
you cannot fd from kneeling
you MUST be standing to fd
you must be in combat to start fd
depending on your lvl in smuggler fd takes longer or shorter topull off
fd shows in your combat quere
in order to pull fd you must take a hit from an opponent
IMHO the best tactic for dealing with jedi that fd's...
kd the jedi
stun
lay as manyDOTs on one pool as possible
keep the jedi dizzy and kd'd
if that jedi gets up wave your bounty goodbye
here's the skinny
DOT's are your friend... they do damage without setting off the fd
of your jedi gets fd off you can black bar him/her and it won't matter
stun should slow down the jedi JUST long enough to buy another DOT..
fire/bleed/poison/disease... apply them all
once you get them DON'T TOUCH HIM
once you apply them don't hit the jedi unless you have to
that's my story and i'm sticking to it

Question: If someone must take a hit in order for FD to work, and DOTs do not set it off... is it possible to use a DOT attack over and over (like torso shot) without setting off the FD (even tho the first fire had already been applied)?

torso shot is a hit...
you have to hit to apply a DOT..
