Ridiculous. Then when I looted it, it dropped 3 pieces of loot: 2 level 3 smuggler toolkits, and a +6 Force Accuracy, +11 Artisan Experimentation CA.
Totally ridiculous. The Devs really messed up on this one. Since these things are insanely easy to kill and the drop rates are high, EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF LOOT that non-bounty hunters loot from other NPCs will be severely devalued.
Make these things harder. Make them kill me half the time. They should be Level 85 and hitting me for as hard as a MLS Jedi who has me armor break'd. The fight should last longer than 2 minutes. The good loot that they drop should be a reward for a good fight ... not something I got from tracking down a mark, turning on a macro and coming back 5 minutes later to collect the loot.
Seriously get a grip. I'm sure alot of the Rubes will be impressed with your post and all but maybe not everyone has super great gear and macros according to your post. Maybe instead of trying to break your arm declaring how uber you are consider that others might play this game too and maybe not everyone has millions to dump into gear and whatnot. Maybe instead of the 100m suit of armor you must have and 10m a piece weapons try taking out some general gear, instead of trying to nerf a decent bh break for everyone else. Not everyones having a easy time of it or isthe super pvp ownzr of their server like you seem to be.
Seriously this hasnt been out for 24hrs and you're already calling for a nerf before any changes/updates have been made, way to go professor.....

This guy is a Jedi just trying to ruin our fun cause most of them are jealous we are actually getting good loot for once... same with most of the Jedi's that are posting in this tread. They aren't getting the flawless crystals that they desperately want... so they have to ruin somebody else's fun... GTH is what I say to them.Simple... we need to drop this thread and just move on, they are just trying to ruin the game fun aspect for us.

Lol, no, loot like this won't last.
One of two things will happen, the loot will go away or the marks will get harder.

If the NPCs are that easy (which I think they are, really), consider this:
I was fighting a boss today, and everything was going fine. One ruby, two stimpacks, duelist stance and a great, great armor with energy protection levels at around 7980 (chest and legs), 5000 (head), ~3000 biceps and ~4000 bracers (just for the look of it mostly). Also had my nice bandolier giving me good melee and ranged defenses.
He all of a sudden switched (right in the middle of the battle) to a kinetic weapon! He was dealing me insane damages as I had no kinetic protection (he was using something similar to a tusken rifle but not really sure what it was).
Do not make ALL the bosses harder --- there are definitely some 'quirks'... I had a CL 80 elite guy shooting me for 6pts Ranged Shot and 15pt Overcharge with a few Quickdraw thrown in --- piece of cake.
But then I had a CL82 gold double-chevron elite in Deeja Peak that --- even with stormtroopers helping me (Imp combatant) --- I was unable to beat. He smacked down the stormtroopers AND me. He was melee'ing for 500+ damage (he warped onto me once) and at range he routinely shot me for 480, 512, 510... using full auto (or some kind of 'auto')... there was just no way I could keep up with the damage he was doing to me.
I'm Master Bounty Hunter, Master Rifleman, Pistoleer 0004 and I have no healing except Stim-D and they just weren't cutting it. I would open with a root at 65m and then unload all the damage I could, knockdown just before root fell, dish another volley of Advanced Crit and Imp Head Shot and then Kneecap him and kite... but as I said, his ranged damage was insane. His 36k hit points versus my 3k... didn't matter that I was doing 600 - 800pts per hit (1014 max dmg Advanced Laser Rifle)...
I think, considering the disparity in difficulty levels, something is WRONG somewhere. Most CL 82 (yellow-con) Elite foes I was able to beat without SERIOUS worry... a little running away and re-engaging, a little stim/food and I was okay... then there's the 6pt Ranged shot foe (aka pigeon) and then the uber-ultra-death gold-chevron boss....
I've done 10 missions, just to get a good feel for the new system, and have to say that it seems pretty good over all.
Out of 10 marks, 1 was a 27k Double Chevron CL81, 4 were 17-19k Chevrons CL82, 4 were 8k CL82's and 1 an 8k CL81.
The 5 un-chevron'd marks were easy for my template (MRifle, MBH, Pistol xxx3, FSRanged lines and MDefense), the 4 "elites" varied depending on weapon type but would knock me down to a minimum of half my health, and the Boss mark required all my skill to defeat and that was a very, very close thing even with my 80 meter rifle range kiting.....
A moments inattentiveness would be fatal, but I can see how someone running a healing macro would be able to do this much easier.
As for the loot, it seemed very appropriate for the mission difficulty. I got two CA's of medium quality and 2 crystals (don't know the quality) 3 armor schematics (2 left biceps...sigh) a Jar of Bugs and the rest was Tier 3 and 4 slicing components. This doesn't seem out of hand, though I do have the FS Luck line and don't know if that does anything for loot....
For the amount of time involved, the payouts seemed relative to other mission types, but I'm not seeingmuch of anincrease in xp for killing higher CL's than my own and the BH xp isn't all that great for the time involved either...
To the people who say these are too easy... fight with no food or buffs and use armor without uber tapes. Not every MBH has their character with high quality armor, weapons, and tapes.
To the ones who find it challenging or near impossible:
1) Buy a droid (usually under 250k) that can help you in combat... my R-5 did 100 dmg every sec to a double chevron boss; and the boss only attacked me, so I did not lose a droid...and that 100 extra damage every second helps out alot.
2) As far as I can tell these bosses do not agro (atleast not to me yet) so make your inital attack count.
3) Try to find a AFK or friend Doc to buff you right before you go to the planet.
5) If there are beasts around the boss shot at the boss with you back towards the beasts... this will cause the beasts to agro the boss for a little extra help.
