However, I can absolutely see a Jedi getting killed by a BH and banning them from their weaponsmith shop. Especially if they make good weapons. Why arm the schmoe who's trying to cause you exp loss?
Ok, so that 2.5 million credit rifle that you didnt sell went to a competitor, because you were mad you got beat by a bh. Ok, your loss.
Which in itself isnt a problem at all. But apparently the original poster made imperials as well as rebels mad, even when he was guilded with them, so now all the well-known shops are banning him. I dont think its a matter of him hunting Jedi, its more of a matter of him hunting Jedi his guild told him not to hunt.

well, I will create a character and buy the stuff for him. and if you ban that toon, then i will create another, and another, and another. He deserves to be able to spend his credits just like everyone else, and for you to ban him because he is a neutral bh is just bs.
I didnt ban him, he isnt even on my server. But judging from his post he probably didnt get banned for just being a BH, but for repeatedly hunting allies / friends of the guilds he was in at that time. If he did that with all major guilds on the server as he said he did, he will be banned from most shops because he didnt follow guild rules.

He has the right to spend his credits as he sees fit.

This is a neutral BH, which means he is not subject to faction. As I understand it. Yet you ban him for doing what he does. That is griefing. I dont care how you candy coat it.
it doesnt matter why you get banned...intentions dont matter in this regard, just as you are not allowed to enter private structures, cities are player built, player maintained, and are in effect private...you can always travel through a playercity, but it is not your right to use any services whatsoever...you can have your ability to use player city services and vendors revokedat any time, those with the power to ban don't need a reason, but if you give them one, I'm sure you will get banned much more frequently, that is no abuse of power
in my city we ban anyone who is blue.....bh's, doctors, image designers, it doesnt matter, if your not part of the soloution, your part of the problem, and if a "friendly" attacks one of our residents, or is loitering for no reason, or is rude, he's getting banned to...it's not griefing, and for all intents and purposes, as far as your concerned, its just as if the player city services and vendors didnt exist in the first place, doesn't harm you in anyway whatsoever...so go on, get...this is a peaceful town and we don't like strangers round these parts, specially the likes of you and your kind...go on now, git!

Yes, he should have seen this coming a long time ago. How dare he be something, anything except a Jedi. How dare he avail himself of some of the only decent content in the game. Yes, you're right... He should have learned his lesson a long time ago and just become a Jedi like everyone else. Then he wouldn't have to worry about bans like this, silly Bounty Hunter.

Ilpon, there must be a BH guild out there somewhere. I belong to one on Bloodfin, and we have experienced crafters that take care of these kinds of things so we don't have to worry about knee-jerk (with the emphasis on "jerk") reactions like this just because you happen to kill someone's friend and make the poor baby Jedi cry.

That's not accurate at all. The only character I've been city banned from was my BH. And that was without a "Hi, how ya doin', who you huntin'". Same faction. Literally AS I shuttled into the town. I didn't even see the message because I hadn't loaded yet.
That earned a big fat "So"?
An as to the last, all I see in this thread are BH-tears.
yeah yeah, not reading 4 pages here's my take:
So what they banned you, jsut drive to the city. if banned from individual shops you are doing SOMETHING to warrant the attention. I kill all the time on gorath, and i do get citybanned...
however...here's the thing...i don't take the hunt personal..but once i'm banned i then light up when i get that guild's jedi again sometime because i know it actually makes them mad and they are going to some extra effort to cause me trouble by banning me. So it just makes me WANT to hunt their jedi more.
Come to Dohrian, Talus on gorath, we never ban for hunting jedi. We have a 12 pt WS, solid armorsmith, and everything else under the sun.
