I just bought one the other day with a max dmg of 1086. Best I have ever seen on my server (although I've never looked that hard for them to be honest). Average max damage is in the 850 range or so I think.

Depends on how patient you are, and whether you want to be paid while doing it.
I've found Nashal on Talus to be a good place to pick up XP fast with relatively little risk, even unarmored and unbuffed. I usually go there if I'm within 30k weapon xp of levelling and can come back in an hour ready to train. There's a valley at the north end of town, with easy critters on one side (100xp each), and slightly more difficult on the other side (300-500xp each). I go to the "easy side" to heal up. I can stand pretty much in one spot hitting tab-attack, tab-attack, killing everything in one shot.
You can pretty much just run circles around the town shooting everything that moves with a good weapon, and pick up upwards of 500-1000xp per minute while taking little or no damage.
I just bought an LLC, and am looking foward to trying it out there.
Of course, if you want to buff up and put on composite armor, there are more dangerous places.

the LLC can be devastating in pvp...problem is your target need to be KD to make sure you don't miss all to much....I've hit up to 1500 damage THROUGH pvp grade armor

I just finished LLC 4 killing mostly Tortons on Talus. Easiest I've found for LLC.

I finally found a good use for my LLC besides clubbing baby durni's with it...
Gorax! LLC single2 actually does fair damage against gorax. I havent figured out if my carbines actually have better DPS (which they probably do), but spamming LLC single2 against a gorax when your fighting one of these in a group gives the impression that you are doing a lot of damage. Just make sure to let everyone know in spatial with comments like "wow that one hit for 7400!" and things like that. Just dont let the group know that they are hitting the gorax 8 times for each hit of yours.

mm I only miss 1 or 2 shots out of ten....I've solo'd GDK's using my LLC (takes a while though)

My favorite LLC grinding creatures are craggy bolmas and surefoot brackasets on Dathomir. Both are 100% vulnerable to both electricity and acid. Theirmissions are worth 17.8k (the surefoots) and 18.3k (the bolmas). Ravenous tortons are still good to hunt, so it depends on your preferences. Rori is a much less hazardous planet than Dathomir, so hunting Rav-Torts has its benefits, but I can usually blow through bolma/brackaset lairs in about 3 minutes, for about 25k LLC xp per lair. That adds up very fast.

Any good spawn/poi that does nothave too many people at them. Fort Tusken is good, but usually there is 15 other guys there geting your xp. I like finding the not so traveled places like poi's on Rori or Lok.
