Except the speed mod of a TKM is 115 compared to Swordsmans 70. The Result is that TKAs are faster and deadlier than any combat class in the game, including rifleman, and BH. TKA hit the head harder than a swordsman, hith the legs harder than a carbineer or pikeman, and hit all 3 ham bars resulting in an associated dps greater than any weapon in the game.
Ok. I am a TKM, but I AM ALSO A MASTER SWORDSMAN. And though I haven't got the time to argue each and every point, I feel the need to point out some very simple solutions to your predicament.
a) Swordsmans mod is +75 2H-speed and not +70.
b) I am also Master Brawler, that gives me another +5 2H-speed bringing my total to +80.
c) Adding +13 speed skill tapes will bring my 2H-speed modifier to +93 which equates to an effective attack speed of 1.0 with a 5.4 speed hammer. If you need the math, I'd be happy to forward it to you. This is the expensive option, but it exists. Your cost of speed tapes on Eclipse would be approximately 1 mil credits.
d) You do, however, have a point that a Master Heavy Swordsman can only spam specials every 2.7 secs or so.
e) If you are having problems acquiring a good hammer (mine is 626 max dmg (35% dmg slice), 5.4 secs), get yourself a scythe for PvP. THAT'S the balancing factor introduced into the game by the devs.
f) My Scythe is made with WHITE cubes, and that means no damage modifiers. It is unsliced at 308 max damage, speed at 2.6. My max DPS with this weapon is approximately 700. If I get a good damage slice, my max dps will breach 1000.
g) If you manage to get yellow cubes, the lowest are 3% base, +10 max damage. This will yield a Scythe of approximately 340 max damage. Do the math and see what the dps is going to be.
So, solutions exist if you are willing to work for them. If you are not, then perhaps you should give up gaming, and take up writing as a hobby instead.
