Thread: Another jedi whiner
the reason why we have first strike is because jedi especialy jedi knight full temp has an advantage of us over skill and heals even the heals are better than docs well evenly but the offensive side u knights have the upper hand on.
but the reason for the first strike so we can decide when WE feel we are confortable in fighting u.
now if bh was even matched alot more or more powerfull then yea i would of not done that well if still allowed maybe who knows but i am sure the devs would of did something to prevent that type of tatic in the game if we bh were alot more powerfull see we require a 2nd whole profession to even try to get close to matching u and its still not enough half the times.
what i do not see is why is it when u jedis use cloak and run and such or hide in houses and get ride offers etc... its all good for u but when a bh takes advantage of 1 mistake u made all hell breaks loose come on guys get with the program
that tatic is part of what the devs attended to be for us to have first strike and to take advantage of any situation the jedi maybe in
as scout i use terrain alot since i can run up hills alot faster then jedi so i root run up a hill and then blas u and repeat is one of my tatics among others but i use everything i can to beat a jedi no matter how cheap it is or how long it takes and what tools i use if i have it as a skill or data pad or inventory or a friend giving me tools i use them.
yes i even use the health crystals man i get more hate tells because of that than anything else

boohoo cry to mommy i use what ever i can to beat u and i do what ever it takes to turn the tables thats why i am mcm as well with the debuffs and dot stacking hehehe turns the table really quick and i get called cheater for that i am like dude please those are my skills cry me a river will ya?
Was it cheap, yes.
Was it low, yes.
Was it dirty, yes.
Are you a f'n (inster derogatory name here), that's up to the individual.
I say kudos to the bh who take opportunities like this, i don't play fair vs bh's on my jedi and i don't expect them to do the same to me.
The only thing i really didn't like about most bh's was ganking low lvl padawans/shrug, that's not much of a prob now though.

They guy just got killed because he was an idiot, and quite frankly it's in human nature to blame something on anyone but yourself. Understandably he was upset, it'll wear off.
I don't get why some bh expectjedi to be happy they swiped xp and took a cheap shot............ I expect hate tells from the majority.
Either way i believe in punishing people for stupidity and that was just what the jedi needed.

Your generalizing again, i followed a group of raiding rebs(20-30 peeps) and harrassed them myself. Got about 5 kills patiently waiting for stragglers to get careless.
I await each bh attack and they rarely come. I've sat in cities offering CL 80's to take me on 2v1 and i have 0 defender and been turned down. I can rarely if ever get non-jedi to duel me even just for fun/shrug. I guess it's because most are out b4 they even hit the kd recovory button.
Try fighting without armor and you'll know what it's like to fight like me
And again on the "big kids subject". I have been a knight since a bit after CU came out, i've seen 2 bh's with about 2 weeks inbetween them. Until pub 20 it had been over a month till i'd even seen or heard of a bh that had the balls to take on a knight, i did however see plenty of 150k and lower padawans get ganked. If it wasn't for pub 20 i doubt anything would have changed.
Ohhhhh ho ho ho HO! Don't even get me started on this. I respect what you're saying: You're one of the jedi who don't participate in the kind of behavior I'm talking about, and since I don't know you I will happily take you at your word and /bow to you. I admit--lately I've just been stinging from getting tromped in this fashion and it's wearing on me. I apologize for lumping you in with that bunch by implication. BUT as far as fighting without armor goes... I've essentiallybeen doing just that for a GOOD long while. Up until just recently, all the money in the galaxy couldn't buy any kind of armor that protected against lightsabers. True, the fabled "LS-resistant PSG's" were around, but they were few, far-between, expensive, and offered exceedingly low protection vs. a lightsaber. Every bounty hunter worth his salt knew that to wear any kind of armor was only doing them harm in the form of adding encumbrance, while offering no real protection of any sort, so we all spent our creds at the tailor's shop and here on the forums on CA's. Of course, buying CA's is usually putting money straight into the jedi's pockets because they were the ones looting it all. But I digress. The point here is that I truly, truly know what it's like to fight without armor, and it sucks. However, a jedi's "natural toughness" and force armor can be petty dernned good. In fact, I took a mission on a jedi just a bit before the CU; his mission was only 94k and I got tromped! Why? because he was also still a TKM! The "natrual toughness" of TKM stacked with his force armor and whatever else so well that I was hitting him for around 80-100 pts. In fact, one shot was for only 8! Believe me--I'm not here to brag about my guns, but I do have some pretty good ones. I usually hit for 1000-1200+.
But anyway, honestly, I didn't come here to banter back and forth with you. Again, /deepbow for playing the way you do and good luck in your endeavors. But my reply was intended as a pat on the back of the originator of this thread. It's easy to get down about this job. It's the hardest job in the game, and it's extremely thankless. But we do it because we're bounty hunters and that's what we do. I still say he did nothing wrong and I still give him total credit for taking the opportunity when he saw it. Again, good job, mate! Getting lucky strikes like that happens rarely, so enjoy it and again--don't let his bruised ego get to you.
