ok,i've heard a lot of things about the jedis in the game,i've heard that the FS slots weren't available yet and i also heard that they were.so,i dont know what to think now,because i plan to try to unlock it but i dont know if i should start to work on it now.so,could somene enlight me on that pls?

The developers claim the code for unlocking the FS slot is in place.

Either believe them or do not; no one else knows.

Go ahead and start. As far as anyone knows they are in the game.

Of course, nobody knows the start, or even if there is a start beyond "create a character and log in".

The code for unlocking the slot is probably in place.

The code for the slot actually showing up and being usable once you've unlocked it, well ...

The key is to believe the devs, but not to believe them too much. One must realize that what the devs say (atleast about the FS Slot) was not meant to be interpreted, but rather to taken for what it is, and nothing more. Reading into dev quotes will only give you false assumptions.

That being said, I think that the code is in place for FS Slots, not for Jedi, though.

the devs surely have a 'quotas' of jedi per player (i.e 1 jedi per 5k player),but there might be a whole lot of FS people without even be trained.it's sure that there was FS people between ANH and ESB,but the force weren't enough storng to come to the emperor and vader.that is a possible thing

Yeah i hear a un confirmed rumor that to become a jedi a character is randomly selected as being force sensitive. and you can only find out after you play for quite awhile and get some exp. is this true. and if so where do you go or how do you find out if you are force sensitive. thanks =)

you know, i've been reading these boards so long, that i find this question very refreshing.

we don't know much about being a jedi, only the following: It is not random, there is a check list (or something similar) to be filled out by in game actions, once that is done you unlock the option to create a force sensitive charecter, who can then become jedi.

Nobody knows how to unlock it, or what to do once you create the charecter however. Everyone has the same chance to unlock it, but we don't know what actions will actually unlock the charecter slot

So it could be random, since everybody has the same chance to unlock it... Which is why these forums are just a cesspool now. Truthfully these posts should all be in the SWG main discussion forum, not the "Jedi" profession forum.
