I am BH 0444, MCarbineer, CM 4000 and so far I'm liking it alot. I'm still grinding out the investigation missions but eventually will be MBH.

You could go:

Master BH

Combat Medic 4000 for the healing

And then Rifles or Pistols or Carbineer

or

Some like to combine MBH with Master Combat Medic that gives you paralyze...

You have a Jedi yourself and you dont know what templates can hurt you?
Anyway, concerning the 900+ dmg carbine: You can only kill a Jedi with that if he is unprepared. Force Aura is a real showstopper for any ranged attacks, and most Jedi have either Aura or Cloak to counter ranged attacks.
