To counter a jedi who spams /offerride, simply add a line to your targeting macro to deny the offer like so:
/target [yourMark];
/deny
Now, if someone spams /offerride, you just need to spam your targting macro.
My bad. I meant /decline rather than /deny. The macro should be this:
/target [yourMark];
/decline
Works like a charm.
problem is, it isn't the jedi that is doing this, it's their friends... kinda hard to target their buddy and run this macro if you actually want to target and attack your mark =/
Also with even one player doing this to another, it causes major lag on all but the highest end machines
Actually, I only have this macro working in tandem with my targeting macro to kill two birds with one stone. you don't need to target the person who is offering the ride in order to decline. It works great for me, however I do have a high end machine and rarely experience any sort of lag unless I play two characters at once.

scout + BARC for the win =0
slightly off the theme here but has anyone realized that buying a BARC is a waste of money? I mean its great if you got the BARC for free for purchasing the expansion but it would take a heck of a lot of blown up barcs repaired for free at the garages to recoup the cost if you bought one even for a million. (50 blown up speeders at 20K a pop is a million). In time when the free garage repair goes away and the only way to regenerate the barc is the artisan made repair kit you're probably going to find that repairing a barc will cost as much as buying a speeder.
It is not unheardof for someone to buy and AV-21 for a million credits, in fact that's a downright cheap price for one these days. Why? Its faster and it looks better.
A BARC has both of those features and can be repaired from disable. Well worth a million credits, or $25.00 US
