[only silly Jedi think otherwise, that means I'm not silly

An exploit is when you take advantage of a bug. The /duel/endduel thing is not a bug, it's how they designed it. They programmed it with the intent of giving the /duel'er a message that they cannot duel because the other person can attack them.
Working as intended.

Don't you love it how everyone refers to things they don't like as an exploit? You can blame this one however on the Bh's who WERE useing an exploit on the /duel to prevent the Jedi from attacking....![]()

Would be nice if SWG could fix something without breaking something else though, 2 wrongs don't make a right. Just make it so BH can't use the duel exploit to stop a jedi attacking and a jedi can't use it to see if the BH has their mission... everyone's happy

The /duel command is INTENDED to initiate combat with someone whom you cannot otherwise fight. It is NOT intended to be used by those who DO NOT wish to initiate combat, nor is it intended to be used against people you can already fight - that's what the existing TEF system is for. There's a reason Jedi cannot pre-emptively attack the BH, THAT is intended.
Yes I've run into this, its funny, annoying and sad all at the same time. lol
I don't think Jediknowhow annoying it is.

Now, is it clear to you, or do we need flash cards and a puppet show to get the point across?
LOL puppet show.... Can I see the puppet show anyway

So what? now it's pay back time? wth.
And this /duel /endduel crap is NOT working as intended. I mean, if the devs wanted the jedi to know if someone as a mission on them, why not create a /check command or something? You know, a command where you can't freakin' bug ppl with spam. That's nonsense, and you're a moron

The way I look at it, if people want to use things like duel/enduel thay shouldn't complain about things like same faction BH, and attacking lower lvls.
Those at least are realistic.

Was on my MD/MC toon on Ahazi the other day walked into a cantina no armor holding my carbine and a jedi was standing just inside the door next thing I know I get /duel /endduel exploit! I laughed at the jedi and walked on into the cantina and passed another jedi where I get yet another /duel /endduel!
Then on my MBH toon on Chilastra I shuttle into Kraytia to hunt non loot dropping Krayts and I get 3 jedi doing the duel exploit and asking me who Im after and start buffing themselves and /offerride /offertrade again I wasnt in armor yet and had no weapon in hand nor was I hunting jedi....anyone else running into this silliness?
I went to the Imperial base on Dathomir to go and grab the datapad from the remains on the rebel corpse. A Jedi ran up to me and quickly challenged me to a duel and then went back to her hunting. To make a long story short she was down 2 a quarter health so I accepted the duel then blasted her. She went down and was killed by an Imperial NPC.
Can you believe she sent me hate tells for doing this? I only responded "You challenged me to a duel so why are you crying?". This little stunt of mine had gotten me banned from yet another city.
Stupid Jedi.
