okay, so you're wondering if MSL is worth it. i am in the same boat as you are. im working MBH (pre-CU, thank you!) / MSL / Pistols 0404. i settled on dabbling pistols over dabbling SL for 1) the cool INTIMIDATORand 2) it seems that getting MSL gets more of the generic def and weapon mods, while mastering pistol is obviously more geared to pistols. i have not crunched the numbers for carbs, but i would imagine you'll find the same thing. if you're going to be a carb BH, that's fine to get MC and dabble in SL. but i wanted to be more well rounded and therefore have decided on the generic mods over theweapon-specific mods.

fixed a little.... not entirely lol, its alot better than it was a year ago.

well...hmmm....i have re-evaluated my original thoughts on this and ran the numbers....according to what i can tell with a prof calc, i would get better defenses with MBH / MP / SL 0404 than MSL / Pistols 0404. better by 35 to 40 points. i would also become 20 points faster and accurate if i switch, regardless of weapon used.


the trade off is loosing the group terrain negotiation, the leadership tree (which includes Form Up), and group melee def mods. i would retain most of the group ranged def mods though


wow...i have some thinking to do...how much longer can we respec?

About to start the LOOOOONG grind to Freelance RSF Ace, and wondering if anyone had suggestions for places or missions to do it?


Also, of subject, anyone know if the Kasshykk Station mission to get the freelance reward ship is the corvette mission? Been doing a ton of missions for that thing now and got to a Corvette mission and just guessing this has to be it finally.

well if your good enough to get to teh corvete mission from Kashyyk space station the your good enough to grind in Kessle

there you can find all level 5 ships that are easyer to kill than you might think


being free lance you are fine with both faction so you can shoot anything, and only get agro from the ship you shoot.

and all the ships in kessle ar busy fighting eachother to give you much agro, so jump in and pick them off for up to 9k per ship


or th erebel gunboat is an easy kill for 29k each too


To get to kessle as a freelance pilot, Goto the last space sector of Dathomir and the freelance deep space and kessle station is close by.

I am a Master Pistoleer and MasterSmuggler and I wish to buy a really good pistol. However I can not afford the ridiculas prices you have to pay for things, I only have 2,000,000 credits. So I have set about getting the components that are required to make a good pistol. I hear DE-10's are good however I also hear that post CU that theDL44-XT is better.


I just got 5 Kryat Tissues(Maximum Damage: 149, Attack Speed: -0.52).


Tomorrow I am going to Death Watch Bunker where I hope to geta DE-10 schematics and a barrel.


So I would like to know what else I may need to make a good pistol and what sort of stats I should be looking for on it. Also is there anything I can collect for a DL44-XT to make it cheaper?


I like using my specials a lot so I think a low SAC would be good but I also want high damage and maybe an accuracy modifier on there.

I killed a Gorax and got a Jar of 3 Gorax Bones 148 -0.49 is that any good? And I have a Featherweight FWG 5 schematic from somewhere, can't remember where I got it. So I should go see a MasterWeaponsmith now?


Should I make sure that he is Force Sensative? And that he has high quality resources, bespin port, a +15 crafting tool, a +44.xxx crafting station anda dancer/musician/entertainer inspiration buff and that he makes in it a research center.


And I should tell him to experiment the ABPH's and ABPB on Efficiency then Speed for low SAC.And foraccuracy mods to add in a scope, preferably an pre-cu one?

Those bones will be fine. You're set for a 65 SAC 935 Max damage sliced FW FWG5.

Yes on all those, but any good weaponsmith will use the best resources available and chef buffs with top of the line crafting tools and a station so you shouldn't really have to ask... often it offends them.

I saw the post about the ultimate template being MBH/MR/Pistoleer x/x/x/3 and medic x/x/2/x with a +25 healing effeciency CA or AA. I am currently a MBH/MC/Pistoleer x/4/x/4. I would like to keep my MC, but how much better is Master Rifleman than Master Carbineer? I know that it is the most popular choice and most widley considered the best profession to use to hunt Jedi, but how much better is it in the end? Is it better, worse, or same as MC when it comes to general PVP and PVE?The reason I want to keep Carbineer is because I love my anti-decay kitted Proton Carbine, and all of my armor is battle. Can I be just as deadly to Jedi, enemey PVPers and NPCS/creatures with MBH/MC/Pistoleer x/x/x/3 and medic x/x/2/x then MBH/MR/Pistoleer x/x/x3 and medic x/x/2/x?
