anyone know way around bugged missions with NPCs not being attackable =/?
i've had this prob on bria the mark spawned in minoea in some water swimming i couldn't target it , was sending in a bug report about it as the mark wasn't in the waypoint for the job and some guy came along and targeted and killed my mark but i did get the mission payout though.

The marks I've faced love to use Charge Shot. I find myself getting knocked down and stunned, but never rooted, snared or bled.

Hey, btw, any word on if any of these guys are using root, snare, etc... what kind of weapons.... what are the hitting for?
So when I notice that they're winding up for a Charge Shot, I knock them on their ass first if I can.
OH! For those of you having a tough time with marks... see if you can position yourself between the mark and a nest of grey-con aggro mobs (or put faith in /maskscent). The marks like to use Area attacks (this is deliberately meant to blow up tyour bike, so store it). I've had help from the local wildlife a few times - and even a boss mark is going to go down fast when he has a few voritors/klikniks/corsairs pounding on him.

Can't emphasize enough the need to use terrain to your advantage as well as adjusting your tactics. I switched from my ALR to my Scatter Pistol so as to do less damage than the Mereks that my Boss MOB aggro'd, then switching back to my ALR as he attacked the last one.
With Mask Scent not breaking, these MOBs are invaluable.
Get your guns and armor sliced guys, it really makes a difference
really I woulda NEVER guessed
seriously tho...like i said..there is a WIDE variaty in difficulty even amoung the boss/elite....try runnin more than a couple before you judge those uf us who've been running missions constantly since pub 21...

The fact that I looted all this from one mark gives me a feeling this FS Luck skill is finally working, does anyone know?
As I've been led to believe, there are single chevrons and double chevrons and they are either silver or gold. I've had double gold chevrons of 19k Health, and then had a double gold chevron at 33k Health. Seeing as the 33k Health one was hitting for over 600 damage a hit (double that of the 19k 2X Golds) I'm guessing that was the Boss Mark....
I don't think the Dev's ever came out and actually explained the Chevron system, which is one of the biggest things I HATE about SWG and SOE in particular.
They never want to explain something, they just leave it for you to figure out and you can never be certain you are right. I want to play the game, and not knowing how something works is NOT FUN in nearly everyone's book, but you can't tell that to these Dev's for some reason.
The Holocron is a joke. It never gives you info you need, just some craptasticly vague statement like "You experiment to craft better items" without ever saying anything about how the experimentation process works and what the variables are....
- 6 Advanced Battle Cores (5396 All Stats), Illegal Core Booster, CA (Cure Efficiency 16, Medical Warfare Efficiency 5, Artisan Experimentation 8)
- Reactive Micro Plating
- Reactive Micro Plating
- Appearance Schematic Bounty Hunter Armor Helmet, Jar of Foraged Bugs
- Illegal Core Booster
- Reactive Micro Plating, Warm Hat (oh joy! *LOL*)
- CA (Grenade Experimentation 14, Pistol Defense 8), Illegal Core Booster
- Reactive Micro Plating
- 2 x Mandolorian Intraframes
I ran several missions sat, and faired ok. My complaint is the 7 tickets for white con marks, and 1 no show. Other than that, I had several silver chevron, some gold chevron, and a real pain in the ass that hit me for 600 damage and incapped me once.
Here is how the loot panned out.
2 CA's, +10 Carbine Accuracy +10 Creature Taming; +11 General Ranged Accuracy +11 2 Hand Melee Speed.
3 IBC's, 2 Mando Intraframe, 4 Reactive Microplating, a Trigger assembly, a stack of 8 stocks, 2 jars of bugs, a left bicep schematic for BH armor, and a party poster.
