It is BH's job to kill Jedi, but you can prevent this by them leaving the city. Do not attack them if they are dead center of a city where the Mayor is, or a bunch of merchants are located. Don't attack them at all if you have a fear of being banned from their structures. I don't see a problem with it, as BH's should know there will be enemies made if they excel and manage to do over a Jedi at any place or time.
The BH's have a right to hunt Jedi anywhere they have access to.
The structure owners(Mayors, Merchants and Players..etc) have a right to ban anyone they wish from accessing what they own.

Ok this is the mess im in now on gorath most jedi have the best crafters on the server, of course...Jedi, in general, are the most dedicated players.
so to get the best weapons and armour you got to buy from them, but if you are banned from most citys and most jedi have the best crafters on the server, sounds like you should have spent a lil more time making friends then griefing people.
how can we as mbh get this good equipment, im not in a guild been kicked out of so many for hunting there jedi friends, if you've gotten to this point, you can't....this is a lesson you would do well to apply to any game world, even real life.
most crafter dont want to now me because ive killed there jedi or killed jedi they now , awww, im crying for you, seriously, whaaa
what can be done to help the most fear bh in the galaxy.guilds dont want to now me well the good ones dont cos i killed there poor jedi there is a difference between being feared, and being thought an idiot, after the first ban you could have wised up...but you didn't
now im being excluded from all good armour and weaponsmiths shops grats....end game condition, you beat SWG
ive been looking for 2 weeks 24 hours a day sucks when as the result of bh missions you have to spend hours and hours doing stupid, boring stuff, eh?
there is no bh guilds all jedi nowyou should have seen this coming a long time ago
can anyone help me delete your toon and start over from scratch...dont make the same mistakes twice

his mistake is attacking everyone without considering the consequences, and having the gall to whine about it, it does make it a mistake, and it does make his whining about it wrong.

dude, can you be anymore one sided, than in your reply to the OP. I mean, that is something I would expect from a 12 yr old. I dont see his mistake. he is neutral, he is a bh, and taking part in a part of the game you obviously have a problem with. That doesnt make it a mistake, and it doesnt make it wrong.

the mistake is don't expect to kill every jedi you see and there be no consequences. i think the yellow post was pretty accurate. i have been a bh, and i knew there were some jedi not to hunt, because i wanted to buy what they made. seems like a case of 'oh crap, my actions have consequences'.

I think it is abuse of power. A jedi gets killed, gets mad, has the power to ban, and uses it as a tool for revenge. That is what it boils down to.

Actually there sure is more to it than just a few Jedi killed because he stated he got kicked out off several guilds. You dont just get kicked out of guilds without warning.

The purpose of the cityban feature is for a mayor or militia member to protect the citizens of town. If those citizens include people who happen to be Jedi, and you are a known Bounty Hunter, its reasonable to assume that you'll eventually make it onto the city's ban list. Who else do Jedi need protection from? Bounty hunters, of course! This is common sense, and using a game feature exactly how it was intended to be used. If this is "griefing", then Jedi Bounty missions are most certainly "griefing". The excuse of "I was just doing my job!" works just as well for me when my job as mayor is to protect my citizens and uphold alliances with other guilds/cities.
If you can't deal with this, you've should've chosen to stick with NPC missions, and left Player missions alone. Killing another player, especially when their death at your professions's hands costs them time and XP, will have consequences. To not expect that you will eventually become a pariah on your server for having executed every Jedi you could, to not be prepared for the poor reputation you'd receive, is just really naive and short-sighted on your part. Maybe you really didn't see this coming? For that, I sorta pity you. But not nearly enough to unban you from my city or my shops. You've made your bed in the community, and now its time to lie in it with whatever weaps and armor you can find on the bazaar.
And if you're an RPer, you'd not really be complaining about any of this. An RPer looking to protray a feared Bounty Hunter would EXPECT to be loathed and shunned by the rest of the player base. "Bounty Hunters. We don't need their scum."

Maybe this is something the devs can move to rectify. It is griefing a player because he chooses to be a bounty hunter. I think your griefing, and I will report you.

It did not get banned for being a BH, it seems he got banned and kicked from guilds for hunting allied Jedi in every guild he was in so far.

Jedi are now responsible for BH population control ![]()
Sounds as though its time for you to delete your character, make a new, non-BH character, and pretend your original never existed.

well, I was just banned for being a BH.
BS?
well, I don't mind writing a Ticket...
actually, I do this quite a lot.
that's why you don't get me mad enough to reply on flametells when I kill a jedi.
if the jedi (or his 'friends' do this and it goes too far, I write a Harassment Ticket...
I just file a harassment ticket and I'm done with it....then it's up to the CSR to kick their behinds.
as far as the /cityban case goes:
I do not mind citybans, but I do mind the harassment (being the trashtalk, following on very close distance, destroying missions, kill stealsetc) after this just because I have mastered BH....and that's what happened in combination with the cityban.
so I filed a harassment complaint, and was right doing so.
I can use the cityvendors, I got a nice response at the time from the CSR with a standard apology of the trashtalk...
maybe the cityban's not lifted because of my Ticket, but I could be.
I connected the deletion of the cityban with the hate tells from his friends the next few days.
and tbh, I do not visit that little city anymore...I was just pulling missions, but to let some sorry little children get away with this?....never.
