I use my DXR6s for nearly everything on Naboo. When on Endor, depending on what the resist is, I change... though I still tend to stick with the DXR6, becuase its pretty consistant

Acid is very reliable in that sense, well at least more reliable that energy for most resists. DXR-6 is my favourite carbine without a doubt. Only problem i have with it is that it doesn't look good with a stock

EE3 is also the only radius based carbine as well. Experimented on it can hit multiple targets per normal shot. I have hit a few creatures PvE with my EE3 and it has been pretty helpful.

EE3 radius does not work.
It also has only AP0
It also has low damage.
Only saving grace (what little there is) is that it is heat.
I agree, My EE3 is only a last ditch if the opponent resistant to everything else but I find most critters have high resistance to Heat. I stick with my Laser and Dxr-6. Nyms Slug Thrower looks good on my wall.

Well it didn't used to and I have not heard of a fix for it before the Combat Upgrade.....and even if it did, 3m is a total waste as the AI doesn't let mobs stack on one another very often....

Watcha talkin' about? If you can manage to get a visible stock, scope and barrel on your DXR6, it looks exactly like the Tenloss, which is pretty cool-looking. So fine, the stock isn't as nice as the one on the EE3 or even the Laser Carb, but it's still pretty cool. ![]()
Someone once asked me why my 'dxr6b' was spitting out different green bolts.. and I told them I was a Carbineer. They were confused. ![]()

The Enhanced E11 occupies a comfortable niche between the Elite and the Laser. Only requires a single krayt tissue, too.
Three Carbines every Carbineer must have. EE3, DXR-6, and an energy carbine you're comfortable with.

im mast carb and did the bh combo. Damage damage damage, type type type
las carb and dxr 6
buy a bunch of them from a really good smith and slice until you get a 35%
put a min/max pwr up on it and voila!
youre doing as much as many a krayted weapon for a tiny TINY percentage of the cost.
i do carry an ee3 for heat but never use it.

Hi,
I am using Elite Carb, DXR6, EE3 and Laser Carb. All these have similar damage 200-300 area (except for Laser. min is 55).
When I am killing Janta's I whip out my Elite Carb. Mokks gonna get "heated" with my EE3. DXR6 chew up the acid vulnerables.
I rarely use my Laser now. I do more damage in common encounters. But I can see I would do better with PC's. (I haven't PvP lately so I wouldn't know)
You'll be amazed once you reach close to speed cap. FullAutoSingle2 literally eat mob up (given you choose the right damage type). CrippleShots are even better but I prefer FAS2 for some situation. I can't wait till I get Full Aute Area 2 and Charge2.

For me:
Laser - 186-453, untissued but sliced = Works good for about everthing except those that are Energy resis.
DXR6 - 110-310, untissued but sliced = My back up, I've never found one better then this one but if there's a crafter out there I'd pay nice money (credits) for it, due to the lower damage though I stick with the laser most of the time
EE3 - Wall hanger, I got commando flames IV if I need heat
Elilte - Why in the world do they require a weaponsmith to be master before they can make these?, I think they suck and have never seen one worth a darn, if somebody has an inside idea about this clue me in.
Slugthrower - I really-really tried to make this work when I found a decent one but alas; also a wall hanger.
Since most folks seem to have both energy and acid in the base of the armor, you make the choice of which you want to use to fire at other players. I stick with my Laser most of the time but sometimes get sick of the noise and switch to the dxr6.
