Well, think of it this way.
Jedi or the possibility of Jedi drives up sales of the game.
Sales of the game drives up the salaries of the devs.
Which profession would you pamper?
End of story.
Wow. Ever work in industry? Sony's stockholders may be raking it in, but it's HIGHLY doubtful the developers are getting rewards to adding more Jedi or and content to this game.As lousy as things get around here, the devs are doing their jobs, and they're doing it thanklessly, mostly.
Really, the kudos should go to them...
(* My god, did I just defend the devs? *)
I've never worked as a developer, but I'd take an educated guess and say that working as a developer for "SONY" would be a pretty nice gig..LOL
The bottom line is, the better a company does, the more money it rakes in. If that money is substantial enough, everyone reaps the benefits. It's like saying the janitors at Microsoft get paid the same as at your local electronics store...

I just wanted to kill young Anakin or Jar Jar.
Though in the original movies, I wanted to be Leia. With her cool makeup and dresses and....eh, forgot that last bit.

At first I was about to answer like I always do, but then the most amazing thing entered my head...
The Devs don't fix things like /duel and kashyyyk exploits because the Devs also play this game and they all play JEDI!
Could it be so simple? The reason the devs don't help BHs is because they hate them! They don't like dieing to their own creation so they warp it in their favor. We should be slapping ourselves for not seeing this and cancel our accounts, but il never do it...
No, not because they don't favor Jedi (because they do) but because I don't think the Devs play the game!
They must've not seen Empire Strikes Back, after the Darth Fight that'll make you wanna kill the whole Skywalker family line. lol

Gawd you're dumb, dumb & so so wrong.
*sigh*
This is why I rarely post on the BH boards - even being a BH myself.
If you wanna argue the fact that in 1977 when people saw a Jedi they went 'WOW'.... ha! So be it man... I stand by my statement...I'd even up the number past 75%
By the way - in the Springer tradition - don't call me dumb cos' U DON'T KNOW ME!!! U DON'T KNOW ME!!!! I do wut I want!!!

Why? Because of ONE duel between Obi Wan and Vadar? I think more people wanted to be an X-Wing pilot or smuggler rather than a Jedi. You forget this game is based on "A New Hope", not "Attack of the Clones".
You too - I dunno what you're smoking but in 1977 it was the Saber that ignited our imagination....and it was Lucas's purpose for it to do so.
Duh...I know all about this game - been playin since launch and watching it since before that.
Did you just double post in your own defense? Oh well.
Anyway, are you gonna argue that back in 1980, no one saw Boba Fett and thought, "Cool!" ? And back to the original point (or one of them), everyone knew (or should have known) that this game was set in the OT. How many people (originally, back near launch) picked up tis game in order to play Jedi? Not a lot, or they were very disappointed.
boba fett in original trilogy =
"As you wish"
and the next movie
"EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!"
and he's dead
Oh and somebody said the CSRs dont know sh!t about jedi... thats because they are CSRs not Devs
customer service = talk to people, dev = develop people(or jedi people)
