I think every jedi should do it to punish the BHs for this huge exploit!

Remember, when a BH did this to a jedi it locked them out of combat and made them unable to attack. Now it comes back and bites you in the arse. I could not be laughing more.

Your attitude epitomizes everything that people despise in the new breed of Jhedeye-boi.

I do hope I get to meet you in a professional capacity some time

Well bh's certianly weren't in a hurry to get it fixed and many really didn't care, but oh no a jedi can use /deul to see if they have their mission OMG IS TIS A SPLOITZ, THEY ARE TO UBER NERF THEM NERF THEM.

I'm sure most of the BH would be more than happy for pearl drops to be fixed for you guys if we could still have droids that worked and the element of suprise/first strike back

it isn't a bug...its working as intended....you only want it changed so that you can lure a jedi into a duel under the premise of it being friendly only to db for a payout or so you can sit around in an area pretending to do something else and wait until they are weak...neither of which is fun or fair...you still have first strike, you take it at the time of your choosing, and if you decide to follow your mark around like a lost puppy, it's your fault if he's on to you. its still very possible to catch a Jedi by suprise.

The fact you have to justify its use proves it is an unintended effect.

FYI, the old BH /duel exploit (yes it was an exploit, and people should have been banned for it) was able to be circumvented. All the jedi had to do was accept the duel. You can't circumvent the Jedi /duel exploit.

IT could be if youe ever SAW IT.

Exactly my point. Then the cries of "Nerf Radar" begin. Well, I actually saw some of those posts yesterday, so I guess "begun" would be more fitting.

I have yet to see a call for a nerf of you my spastic friend, what I do see is a call to fix an exploit. Now I am one of those who has never used an exploit ingame but I am sure paying for those who chose to do so and probrably for those made up by jedi. So, noone is calling to nerf you, we are calling to FIX exploits and bugs throughout the game...try decaf, take a vacation from the game and enjoy RL some then come back....you may have a whole new outlook and a life!

First, you didn't quote anyone or use identifying characteristics beyond "spastic friend". While I'm not spastic, and certainly not your friend, I will post as if you were, in fact, referring to me and my post. So. You say you have yet to see a call for a nerf of me, which makes no sense to me in context with my post, so I will extrapolate this to mean that you have not seen a post asking for my radar to be made useless. If that is in fact what you are trying to say, please review this post (starts near the bottom of page 1), taken from these very forums.

And I already only drink decaf because of digestive problems, so the blanket generalization does not apply to me.

I do feel free to read your threads, reading and learning about your tactics helps me to become a better Jedi. And until the moderators remove my ability to post in forums, I will post where I want, thank you. And as far as your post after this one, if it is in fact directed to me again, then you did not read the link. I even told you exactly where to look. I can't help if you assume the ostrich position after that.

The thing that amuses me about this argument is that I've never used /duel on an approaching dot to see if they are coming for me. If I'm in a place where another player coming up on my radar is out of the ordinary (such as out grinding), then I assume they are there for me. But I've already read posts on this forum that state bounty hunters think my use of radar is unfair also. Seriously, you guys won't be happy until taking our mission causes our prone, naked bodies to instantly warp to your location.

Jedi who are out grinding in the middle of nowhere don't need to /duel. Its fairly obvious if a lone player just happens upon your position that he is there to kill you. The problem is loading into a city, you have already been challenged to 30 duels by the time you get out of the loading screen. Or, when you are looking for a mark at the feral wookiee camp (ALWAYS grouped with 7 other Jedi), by the time you have tabbed to your mark, he has already /dueled and is sitting on the bridge. With the use of /duel, the Jedi knows you're after him before you do.

I was against the BHs who abused /duel and supported harsh penalties. No exploit should be left unpunished. There will never be a good excuse to cheat.

Its funny how quick that bug got fixed, yet this one lingers. The devs have only now acknowledged it as an issue.

Will probably get closed up lets hope so, tbh I don't find it that honourable and will ALWAYS fight.

#2 Draging mobs onto the BH--not much u can do about it

Never been done intentionally, and have had it done to me as well, it go's with the territory

#3 Massive Offerride spamming---doesnt affect you to much if your not running but does cause lag

Fixed

#4 The AV 21 fast getaway(can anyone tell me why the cant seem to make jedi vs. bh 1 on 1?)

Fixed upcoming Publish

am i supposed to have a friend follow me around on my missions so we can have av 21 races with out marks across dantooine...supose so that way i can duel db macro with him so the horton mobs dont get me

and it's huurtons, your cynicism doesn't bolster your points

anyone got any others?

Yes but I shan't mention them here

As an EX-BH (still would be if I could fit the sp) and a Jedi it seems to me very much that this is moaning for the sake of it, No one ever said it was gonna be easy, thats the price you pay when you take the job, the appeal to me of hunting a Jedi is that instead of some NPC running to a pre-defined set of rules I'm facing a human opponent who may Horror of horrors try to out-think me!

as a BH you have the advantage of the first strike, if you can catch em in a city or in the middle of a hunting group with other jedi in it you can retain the element of suprise up to a certain point.

"AGeneral who is prudent and waits patiently for aGeneral who is not shall be victorious" - Sun Tzu

It applies to BH as well. Some people may feel that the recent changes as well cause problems. Be warm and glowy in the realisation that EVERY jedi online looks over their shoulders now. Fear is as effective an ally as your weapons

I have seen some people state that it isn't possible for a Jedi to lose aggro with a group of creatures whenever trying to train them onto someone but have a couple of questions to ask in regards to this. The first is - will cloak cause NPCs that are attacking a Jedi to lose agro on the said Jedi? Second - didn't their used to be a Jedi ability that caused attacking creatures to stop attacking a Jedi sometime before CU? I know that I was once fighting a Jedi on Tantooine who had alot of creatures attacking them but then they all turned on me. He told me that he had used a move called Creature Fear or something like that (not exactly sure what the skill was called).
