The game is always changing. If you can't handle it, don't play.
And Jedi are not overpowered.
Jedi just had MUCH better group dynamic/group role definitions planned out than all of the other combat professions during the CU.
Jedi's adjustment for the CU came AFTER everyone else's, when the Devs had more time to think it through.
Get a pack of 8 random combatants together, and they can fill their roles in the group, but the group needs more effort to plan out for it to be effective.
Now get 8 Jedi together. Since various Jedi skills are nearly indispensable in a template (some healing, some channeling/transfer, some damage output, some defense) it allows for 8 random people to fill needed roles in the group easier.
Random group of 8 = can anyone heal? Crowd Control? Can we get another Rifleman?
Random group of 8 Jedi = You do crowd control, you do healing, you transfer Force when needed, we'll do the damage.
Jedi in general just lend themselves better to group dynamics than the other professions who seem too specialized.

I fought two master defenders to 30 minute draws last night ( I sucked at PvP as of last week). I spent 600K on my armor (6998 energy padded), I spent about 1 million on foods (although that should last me a while for sure), I also traded a crate fo free resources for a krayt scater and used my ADK on it. So all in all we're talking 3-4M investment. I am MBH/ MCM
BHs really need to stop the whining, it is becoming embarassing. I am not fooling anybody. Is it hard?...well it is not easy but is should not be. Instead of flaming me back explain the record I have amassed (detailed in my sig). Maybe it is luck, who knows, but I belive that luck is when HARD WORK meets up with OPPORTUNITY.
Don't run up to a Jedi and start shopoitng and you will be ok. Surprise, frontload damage, attack when his force , mind, health have taken hit, when he is engaged with MOBs. I took downa 225K full template the night before last...he had 6 ...count them 6...storm troopers on him. I have the screen shot if you want to see it.
I have lost every single straight up duel (freindly) I have ever had with a Jedi, the names go on and onAdemar, Encore, Auronis, Isfar, these guys OWN me. Yet I am 17-1 due to the surprise nature of the attack. I drop the missions if I have to.....

I will also urge bh's that are sick and fed up of this new bh system to just loot in this new patch coming up...do not give overpowered jedi the satisfaction of spoiling your gaming by turning your profession into nothing more than jedi content. At the moment any m defender with a good ls will kill you. Do not be fooled buy the bh's that spent 5 mill on armour 16 mill on a good weapon and managed to kill a fully templated jedi while he wasshuttling.
BH used to be a powerful profession and as a melee bh i only used a vk with a max of 180 and i reached a server record of 464 jedi kills. I dont want to be happy because i manage to kill 1 jedi outta 20 missions because thats game timethats being wasted and it shows bh is far to underpowered.Your looking at a bh that has seen everything come and go and every method there is to kill a jedi. Ive turned quitters and fed up playersof this game into jedi killers!! lol
The cu was a mess to me and this increased attention on jedi is nothing more than a way for more game sales. What every1 has said is correct within a few months there will be nothing more than jedi pvp and non jedi will be nothing but customers that will have to grind it to take part.
Leave the game !! or use your customer say ...wait this out and see what happens or tell the devs that this crap wont be put up with!! whine ..complain and cry because thats all the devs seem to be listening to
when theres no1 for jedi to fight but themselves..when they start leaving because its boring..and soe's money starts to go then theyll be crying for their customers back.
I know jedi will argue and say bh's only whine and thats theres nothing wrong with bh. Ofcourse they would because they dont want any competition or threats...they want to grind their templates out for the next couple months without being bothered and the bh's that say theres nothing wrong...well you know they have a jedi alt hidden somewhere dont ya. I have no will to go jedi because thats not why i wanted to play this game i want to stay a bh and its sad to see its runined becausejedi complainand wantan "i win button"and the devs listen to that.
owand lastly this is my opinion and i know exactly what im talking about so dont try and fool yourselves. Im not asking for arguements i only want to try save this game because it was and still has the chance to be a great game.. and every1 that tries to deny this is not looking at the future consequences and by disagreeing your only helpingin this games down fall..so thanks.

Let me guess, you're a 'run to the WP, jump off your bike and start shooting' type of BH. Any jedi can be killed if you attack at the right time. If you don't like the stalking part of BH, maybe you should consider regular PvP.

IOn my server i hardly see whinning from MBH that kill jedis, only whining i see of MBH are the one who have not yet learned how to kill jedis.

what all you jediwith bh alts dont realise is once you get sick of dieing to a jedi you can switch onto an overpowered toon that you can run about with and pvp....non jedi bh'sdont have that enjoyment so id rather have my only profession fun for me to play. I dont expect a bh with a jedi alt to understand any of the problems that i and other bh's face because your more bothered about where your next pearls coming from than fixing a totally unbalanced system.

Jedi are the furthest thing from overpowered. They have strengths and weaknesses just like any other profession. The healing was overpowered, they adjusted it.
Just because you lose to Jedi doesn't make them overpowered. When EVERYONE loses to Jedi, they are overpowered. A vast majority were losing to Jedi when healing was outta whack.
Live in the now.
Jedi WERE overpowered. They are not anymore. They are, however, much more suited to group dynamics now...which makes them awkward to fit into large scale PvP.

I was wondering what happned. I've been doing everything I can to get hunted and I guess once a BH figures out I'm mdef, they leave.
So, your upset you can no longer target low level Jedi and gank high level ones. You don't have a clue of your marks capabilities are till you attack or observe what they're doing.
As only Jedi that want to be on the terms come about and the low level drop off because of grouping vis, I suspect the bh way of life will change.
It appears the game is only fun if you have the upper hand. I still play my bh, and look forward to the loot coming up.
Jedi are suppose to be 1.5x more powerful than another 'like' character. Those are the rules, if you can't deal with it, try dancing, you shouldn't be a bh.

I have a fix for this now, but, I am rapidly running out of toolbar space.
4) Many ranged profession specials are broken, so effects are not sticking or causing the described effect.
5) BH was nerfed last patch so that we basically have to be ranged BHs to hunt jedi. The moving of jedi bounties to master basically killed the melee BH. We can not play as a melee BH, which might be more effective.
6) Lastly, and this is important; Jedi do not need crafters, but we BH need crafters. We need them to make us weapons, armor, food, powerups, spices, swoops, BE clothesand droids. Because the Alpha class is self sufficient, it will hurt the game in the long run as the need for crafters and their goods dwindles. Its a simple law of supply and demand. Demand for armor and weapons is already much lower than it had been. This is compounded by the use of ADKs.
So please consider these things when you discuss the jedi v. bh dynamic. To me it is one of the most compelling parts of this game, but the devs have effectively nuetered it with the last changes to the the BH profession.
