True you can use a deed, butwith the FR toggle that bike will be disabled before you know what hit you.
Hence the above post........
that post makes no sense. if the Jedi was fr to get away why would he come back for the swoop. If he was running to regen coming back defeats the purpose.
Deed = instant speeder
Instant speeder = BH right behind the Jedi
So the smart thing to do would be to toggle off force run and saber throw the speeder.
All but the most persistent BH will give up after 1 or 2 lost speeders.
Not sure what is so hard to understand about that concept.
small bites for you.
toggle fr= stop fr.
saber throw expends force.
toggle fr on = expend force.
if the hunter is not asleep he will also attack you with the possibility of inflicting more damage.
thus causing you to use a stim or heal again sooner.
If you are running to escape and regen your force the costs of toggling add up.
that is why many Jedi will not get fr2 or above.
If the Jedi is running away (other than to "toy" with the BH) going back to disable the swoop is counterproductive.
What part is so hard for you to understand?
You've been bottom feeding far too long.....hate to break it to you but toggling force run doesn't cost that much so no one but the low lvl paddies will have an issue with that. And if the BH is right behind you, your only option is to slow him down. So far we have a few guys with barc speeders and a fewthat carry around crates of swoops. I wonder why? Maybe because this happens often.....hmm.....

Actually from many Jedi I've been chasing, they run low on force because of toggling FR2/3, they're expensive skills (FR2 I think 450 fc, FR3 600 or so, I don't remember offhand). So toggling off and on a few times will shred their forcebar.
Fr2= 175
Fr3= 480
As stated above....most Jedi only have fr2, so it's not that bad. If they do it repeatedly or have FR3, then yes it will hurt. But once or twice to take out a speeder or two won't hurt and stops the majority of BH's. It's the ones that don't give up that Jedi have to worry about
Wrong, it takes about 10 blown up speeders to make the mission a loss for me

Like I said.....the ones that don't give up are the ones you have to worry about. But unfortunately for your profession, you are the minority. Most will give up after 1 or 2 lost speeders. At least on my server. I tip my hat to any of you that are persistent and overcome whatever obstacles there are to get your mark.

if he's close enough to blow my speeder... then I'm close enough to KD / Snare / Root. So let him blow it. that's why we speeder by the crate. I'll take a loss on money to make the kill. It's fun. I have other forms of revenue.

Well, OK, just a little longer...

TEF restriction for multipassenger vehicles was just removed.....

First off, I am a Jedi.Completed template, and yes I have run out of force a couple oftimes. I have fought a protracted battle where I didnt have enough force to activate aura so you cant tell me that the350 force required to toggle fr2 off then back on is insignifigant.
Second off if you are low force toggling is the last thing you want to do. The bh will catch you anyway and using even more force to run back and disable the speeder will make it worse.If you are at the point you must run for survival then what on earth are you doing using force for anything other than healing or escaping?
If you are not running for survival and are toying with the bh the point is moot. bash away at the swoops all you want.
I could care less if you are a low level paddy or a double master. If you are low force toggling is going to hurt you. are you aware that the force cost of fr3 toggle is 480? (yep thats over 1K force to run back disable a swoop and run away if you are an Menhancer). My point is this, regardless of your template if you have to run because your force is low how can you tell me that expending any force at all that isnt directly involved in keeping you alive is a prudent action?
