I became a novice rifleman a few days ago and need some advice on which tree to go upnext, atm I got 1002 and was thinking of going up the sniping tree first thenonto concealment tree. Would this be a good idea or wouldI be better off going up counter-sniping first, any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks

If you're usually armored and buffed, get countersniping 3 for flushing2 so you can kill entire lairs at once.

If you don't use armor or buffs, get conceal 1 and use concealshot (BORING) to get exp to go up sniping tree so your concealshots don't miss as much.

If you PVP a lot in groups and they don't have other riflemen, take sniping 4 first so you can whore sniper shot and piss everyone off.

I just bought 10 +13 taming wild/vicious creaturetissues for 32k.

I used 2 and made a pair of +25 taming Striped Pants.

How much would you charge for these pants based on the the price I payed for the tissues???

Any help would be great.

Those tissues are 3200 each. that's alot. I pay 2500-3000 for +17 tissues. This is entirely the economy of your server though.

regardless... I would charge about 20k for the pants. 10k for each tissue is a very good profit. Any more and you are going to be undercut by others that price lower.

I tend to do things easy so for +25 taming they would be 25,000 credits. Most players (by now) have enough credits so that 25,000 or even 50k for a complete outfit is nothing. Try and find a happy medium on your server. If you sell too low, they fly.. if you try and sell too high, no one will buy them. I have some melee stuff with +17 and I charge 17,000 credits, medic +16 16,000 credits. I price mine all the same even if it takes 2 tissues, it always balances out in the end.

I hope that helps.

I got a Master Commando and use him to FS grind, but to beef up his defense i want to dabble a bit in Tka. Having enough skill points to fill 2 trees I wonder which would be the best to improvemy defense and overall survivability.

i think it's 0-4-0-4 for the def in tka...if you want def why not get it from pistoleer 0-0-4-4

Alrite, i know there is a fencer template thread, but Im not 100% sure this belongs there. ATM, I'm BH 3040, Mpistols, Smuggler 0040. Im considering dropping the smuggler line for one tree of fencer defences. My question is, against jedi, which one is best? The first tree has that sweeeet melee defence, second tree has the sexay kd defence and the third tree has useful state defence. Im torn between the three, what do you guys recommend?

0040 to get those nice state defenses, you can get ithorian mist or thatikillo to deal with the kd problem

Heya guys and girls,

Originally when i was playing over a year ago i had been a MSL but was pretty much forced to drop it as it was a totally borked class at the time, so i picked up BH instead, however i always liked the basic "idea" of the squad leader despite the fact that it didnt work right, so now the CU arrives and im back giving the game a try again and luckily for me they made a nice little respec addition so i was able to just respec my last point in investigation so am ready to get master BH (just need a touch more combat exp). so now heres the question, i want SL back again as they have fixed a little of it and its a bit more viable now, but at the same time after it took me so much to get BH (pre-cu, now every noob is a respec BH)that i dont wanna drop it, so i want to be a squad leading bounty hunter, however im not sure what the best way to go about this is....

The choices are

Master Bounty Hunter/Master Squad Leader/Dabble in Carbine

Master Bounty Hunter/Master Carbineer/0-4-0-4 Squad Leader

im not so much asking which i should chose, as thats just a matter of personal choice, however without an updated template builder (absolutly none of the one i have found actually list the BH pre-reqs properly) its kinda difficult to find out if im sacrificing any serious amount of stats between builds, is master squad leader worth it other than the wep certs? does it add anything special that i dont know about? if i just dabble in SL it seems i can get a good bulk of what the tree has to offer as far as good skills to have, i mean terrain neg is nice.... but kinda pointless when in the middle of a heated battle and once capped only helps crawling, which for a carbineer is pretty useless i would think.

anyways feel free to throw out other suggestions combining MBH and SL but my main focus is revolving around BH/carbine use

Currently, I think MSL is a matter of personal flavor. The master box is light for a master box, and while the weapons are powerful weapons that's really all that is there right now.
