I appreciate the suggestions, but I hunt in duo's all the time.
Rather than ninja loot, my preference is to open up the body, see what the loot is and then give whatever it is to whoever it is.
I've looted hundreds of NS Elders and hundreds of Krayts over the past two years, and have NEVER lost a loot due the body vanishing.
I had a Boss vanish on me two days ago and this one poof while I had the body open.
Just a warning that this bug is here to everyone.

I'd say get a fraps video of it, but SOE's policy on that is "it doesn't count because we don't want you to prove anything"
