Who has time to check all instances? Yes they could be on the trail if the mark is a paddy. Or your mark could be a full template guy who is farming necrosis. I dont have the time to waste running to all trails then finding out the mark is in another instance prob farming necro or doing quest. If kash shows up for me its mission deleted. You already have to spend 30mins to find a mission that is online, let alone waste another 30min traveling to all instances on kashyyyk.

bh like you are the reason jedi go to kashyyk...

While I dont like how easy it is to level a jedi now, I would rather they level up then fight me on the normal planets. Let them go to kashyyyk and level up. They will eventually come out when they are finished grinding. My goal is BH is not to hold up progress and cause xp loss. If anyone thinks killing some jedi is really going to control the population, they are wrong. I do it for the fun. I like a good fight and thats the only thing inSWG to get my blood pumping. PVP is who has the most numbers in a gank squad now. The only good fights are BH vs Jedi. I may die or I may kill them. XP loss or money is little interest to me. I do it for the challenge of fighting a jedi. Thats one thing I dont like about the new system. Some of my marks may be low level jedi. The 200+ guys were always the best to fight.

In reply to an earlier comment: Why would a full template Jedi NEED to be grinding on Kash? They have their Temp. complated, it's already trained and safe. They CAN"T lose that XP. Unless they're doing quests, there is no reason for a really good Jedi to be there. Seems like MOST of the ones you're gonna get on Kash are gonna be Padawan's. Ab if they're grinding AFK, lazy one with out PVP experience, which is all good for you.

Right?

Killing easily is not fun. What is fun is hunting, travelling to different planets, trying to guess what the mark is doing and planan accordingstrategy, find marks doing different things from a mission to another.

As someone already mentionned in a good post a few days ago, this is bounty hunting, not bounty killing.

Takinga mission, flying to Kashyyyk, driving from starport to Rryatt Trail, running through spiders and wookiees on the webweaver path, killing an afk mark, running through spiders and wookiees on the webweaver path, driving fromRryatt Trailto Starport, flying to Kaadara, taking a mission, flying to Kashyyyk, driving from starport to Rryatt Trail, running through spiders and wookiees on the webweaver path, killing an afk mark, running through spiders and wookiees on the webweaver path, driving fromRryatt Trailto Starport, flying to Kaadara, taking a mission, flying to Kashyyyk, driving from starport to Rryatt Trail, running through spiders and wookiees on the webweaver path, killing an afk mark, running through spiders and wookiees on the webweaver path, driving fromRryatt Trailto Starport, flying to Kaadara, taking a mission, etc.... is not what I call having fun.

I will have fun when the probability that my mark is on Kashyyyk will have been greatly reduced.

If you want to ambush someone and track them while they have no knowledge that they are a target, and you get first strike, and you get paid if you win while the target get's nothing if he wins, and you lose nothing if you lose but the target loses a few hours or days work when he loses, then you need to put the time into it. You don't have the time to hunt your target? A good BH will spends days (sometimes weeks in the old system) hunting their prey. No one guarantees that you'll get to kill another player every 5 minutes just because you want to.

The hunt is half of the game. Actually, just finding your target should be an accomplishment. As a BH, I already feel that tracking is too easy. In 90% of the game, you just have to follow a WP. The only thing that makes it fun is that Jedi are people and are unpredictable - they move, change planets, go into space, aren't always online, etc. You have to check a couple instances on Kash, well, at least you know your Jedi isn't going anywhere - it's easier than trying to track them when they start planet hopping.

You are not guaranteed that you will have your hand held and led right to your mark. Hell, why don't the Devs just make it so that when you take a mission, you are teleported to your mark?

And persistent BH like you are why the droids don't give names on Kash.

I intend to continue hunting on Kash as well, but as long as Jedi keep dieing there, something else will be patched in to handicap us even more.

The producers don't want Jedi to be hunted on Kash. Keep at it and I'm sure they'll eventually just remove the TEF there.

Huh?

If the devs didn't want us hunting marks on Kash, I'm sure they would have removed the TEF already. I suspect the reason the seekers don't work on Kash is because of the technical challenges involved in making them work with all the instances, not because they decided to give Jedi a "safer" place to grind.

I hate to flame, but oh well. The title says killing Jedi on Kashyyyk is easy, but you yourself admit that you dropped some because you were afraid to get your @ss handed to you. Why not engage in battle?.....You don't lose anything.

It has to do with my BH that is MCH, if I have Tonie I'll fight (better PvP), I like being undefeated and i am sure it will be over soon (I will lose soon) , so just tyring to make it last. OnceI lose, I'll never be "undefeated" again.

As far as the fun factor, I like the rush of running up the bridge to find the mark and the challenge of the trail.

This post originally was intended to be a counter to the endless BH whining about Kashykk, some of us do have fun there. I actually have learned much more since the post and edited a few things in the original post accordingly.

Have fun on the trail guys.

Out of curiosity, these AFK Jedi..what exactly do they do when they are NOT AFK? I was just wondering what they actually DO in the game while they are at the keyboard (one handed typers need not respond ;-) )

I mean most Jedi I see are either AFK, or are dueling each other in starports. I mean that seems kinda boring? AFK grinding for the purpose of doing starport light shows..hell Entertainers can do that with a LOT less effort hehe (and are more interesting to look at)

I know *some* Jedi actually go do things..but man I seem to see the same miscreants lingering around night after night and it just makes me wonder what their SWG purpose in life is.

I have a jedi and a bh and do the trial. I'm full template.

What do we do? Well, chat with the other group members, friends and guild mates. Once you have a macro going you can get about 150k exp an hour. BH is part of the risk if you go afk, I don't, but keep my afk tag up.

I'll explain how to get there in one piece since the original poster didn't say how. Use parawan (?)nutricake. Just before the last bridge to the grind area, instead of going to the bridge, go forward to the dead-end. Stay there a bit and you'll lose all agro.

Another way is to make a left u-turn to the next bridge and go half-way up.
