I seem to remember that Obi-Wan didn't get his LS switched on due to Jango being smart and knocking it out of his hand.......

I forgot about that fight... a perfect example... Obi Wan was a mid ranking Jedi and it was a fairly even fight. However, Obi Wan was trying to take him alive and Jango was trying to kill him as quickly as possible. Tactics may have evened the fight, but that is a matter of opinion.

Not to mention that the ship shooting was by a kid and he could not aim very well he could barely see out the window and the ship wasn't moving.
Was Trebor the one who died on the balcony? I can never remember his name.

Yeah Obi-Wan had an even match but he wasn't trying to kill him...just contain him...Luke Skywalker owned Boba and blind smuggler put him to his destiny. Also, I don't remember bh's getting jedi missions

Coleman Trebor was Jedi Master and member of the High Council wasshot by Jango on the balcony in Geonosis.

Your talking about a movie that was in a different time setting then the game. If the game was true to the movies we would only have a few jedi in hiding right now and not see 2 or 3 at every starport.
What do you think will happen if jedi forceblock stays the same and jedi get some defense against melee with publish 10 coming? I can tell you a lot of the current BH's will just go jedi and the game will become jedi wars. No need for armor or weaponsmiths or tailors. Just 80% of the population going jedi and the entire game changing just like it did when holocrons came out. Do you remember how many friends left the game during the holo grind?
Something has to be put in to make being a jedi difficult. If not, what would stop everyone from being the most uber profesion in the game?

All jedi were banned right.. By the empire.. And right now the empire controls the world.. Wonder why there are still knights roaming the streets..

With all this BH vs. Jedi drama going on i have to wonder:
Where in Star Wars, be it the movies or EU did any side ever hire Bounty Hunters to hunt Jedi down?
Boba Fett, IG-88, Bossk, Dengar, Zuckuss and 4-LOM were hired to primarily hunt Han Solo and the Falcon down, with all its passangers, which were not first of all Jedi, but a bunch of rebel scum, responsible for stealing secret plans, infiltrating the Death Star and later destroying it.
=> BHs are hired to hunt important personalities in this war, because the military is not designed to catch specific persons, but for large-scale attacks and control of space sectors.
The only Bounty Hunter who specialized on hunting Jedi in the EU was, to my knowledge, Aurra Sing, who was a fallen Jedi herself and hunted them for personal reasons, even without having a contract.
I have no clue when this "BHs are the natural enemy of Jedi" theme came up, cause in the original game design it was meant to have BH to hunt down members of the criminal faction (yeah, there are ppl who still remember we were promised to have at least 2! criminal factions, which are totally independant from rebels and imperials) who failed on a mission (Jabba <> Han Solo theme)
The Movies show us how Jedi and Sith handle there issues according to Star Wars:
Vader doesnt send out Bounty Hunters to kill Luke, nor does the Rebellion to kill the Emperor. They deal with things like that themself. The Emperor didn't care about any of the soldiers dying in space or on ground at Endor. He was dealing himself with the only person he recognized as threat himself in his Throne Room.
When Jedi and Dark Jedi fight each other normal soldiers stand back and watch. (Obi-Wan - Vader).

The movies show us that Luke is the last of the Jedi during this time frame in SWG. Anything in EU is retarded, the orinal 3 movies are the only things that matter.
There shouldn't evenbe a Jedi class in this game.
