Yes I'm sure this is completely true, why else would they nerf their own profession to oblivion.

Its funny you should say that, because some of the conversations I've had with CSR's, and some of the stuff I've seen posted by the Devs, it makes me wonder if any of them have ever played a Jedi before, or even know how the skill trees work.
I remember asking a certain CSR a question one night about a Jedi skill, after he roffled on for 5 mins I was more confused than when he started and at one stage he was trying to tell me the ability I was trying to use was in a different Force discipline than what I had trained..................... In the end I gave up.

and I'm sure the Devs could load in as Darth Vader if they wanted to. They could also load in as a level 1 noob, and I am sure they do to test out changes and quests. The devs probably play every proff when testing. If you look at the situation from a jedi standpoint it doesn't look like jedi are getting much love. No premium pearls, no frs, powers and healing nerfed. Every porff thinks they are getting nerfed. Check out the smugglers forum if you think BHs are getting shafted, cuz you have it way better then they do. You at least have SOME content, whether it works the way you want it to or not.
Smugglers need a revamp
Creature Handlers are getting a revamp soon hopefully
Squad Leaders need a revamp.
If the devs ignored BH and Jedi for the next two or three patches and fixed these proffs I would be happy.

Are you kidding? The devs don't even know how to fix the bugs in this game much less figure out how to properly use a jedi's skill.
If the devs DID play this game you would see a lot of much needed fixes and changes.
The only time a dev plays is every once in a blue moon when theyactivate Boba Fett or Vader and make an appearance at a scheduled player rp event .. I've seen the screen shots.

i dont think the devs favor jedi or any one else jedi has not been getting much love unless you want to call nerfs love bhs have had barley any nerfs other then the master bh hunting jedi and cant track on kash jedi have been latley been pounded by nerfs

Wow. Ever work in industry? Sony's stockholders may be raking it in, but it's HIGHLY doubtful the developers are getting rewards to adding more Jedi or and content to this game.
As lousy as things get around here, the devs are doing their jobs, and they're doing it thanklessly, mostly.
Really, the kudos should go to them...

That takes the cake. By far the worst post I've ever read. What are they teaching in school nowadays?
Back on topic: I think the devs play the game, but they play each profession withinthe framework of the "role" they were designed for, not what is the most effective way to play. They don't understand imbalance because they can't see it from their viewpoint.

Why? Because of ONE duel between Obi Wan and Vadar? I think more people wanted to be an X-Wing pilot or smuggler rather than a Jedi. You forget this game is based on "A New Hope", not "Attack of the Clones".
