uhm, c'mon, bounty hunters have had more press with those "exploits" than jedi by a longshot except #4.
1) /duel was used far more maliciously by BH than it is bein used by jedi
2) again c'mon, this one's just being petty, how is it exactly they caused the mobs to lose agro on themselves but gain it on you?3) Bounty hunters have also used this to clog up a jedi's screen with invitations from their friends to slow them down4) alright, jedi are escapign on their friend's rides when they shouldn't, i'll give you that one, still not an exploit tho.i don't know why you're even trying to come off as morally superior here in a class vs class sense, bounty hunters and jedi SOOOO deserve each other.
1) Agreed.
2) Training is a real problem, so much so that it is expressly forbidden as griefing.
3) Agreed, except most BHs operate without any friends nearby. Most jedi don't even go potty by themselves yet.
4) Purposefully using a game mechanic that is not working as intended is the very definition of exploiting.
BHs are not morally superior, we have our share of jerks, but let's be honest with our responses.
I think some people take training a little too seriously though, I was on webweaver path heading down to save that wookiee for the great kamino staff i believe, and i got aggro'd by 3 or 4 spiders while i was running down to get to the area with the feral wookies since there are no spiders there. the jedi there did an area attack and got aggro'd by the spiders which I helped them kill, and they reported me for training. Twas a total accident.
That's not training because:
a) it was not intentional,
b) the jedi actually drew agro onto himself by using an AOE attack.
You just happened to find a Kashyyyk crybaby.

#1 Duel DB macro---my favorite
#2 Draging mobs onto the BH--not much u can do about it
#3 Massive Offerride spamming---doesnt affect you to much if your not running but does cause lag
#4 The AV 21 fast getaway(can anyone tell me why the cant seem to make jedi vs. bh 1 on 1?)
am i supposed to have a friend follow me around on my missions so we can have av 21 races with out marks across dantooine...supose so that way i can duel db macro with him so the horton mobs dont get me
anyone got any others?
#1 Still being used by BHs to circumvent Stasis and Supression
#2 If you don't attack the mobs they don't agro you (the person can't just drop agro, unless they get incapped)
#3 I've never used or seen this one (I grind on the Ryatt trail though, so LAZY BHs don't come for me....lol)
#4 Never used this one either. Stasis + Force Run 3 = No need for a ride.
Now I grind on the Trail. And if a BH comes for me I don't run. If you spent that time to look through the instances for me, the least I can do is Stay and fight. Plus with regain consciousness I only lose 50K of xp (although I try not to lose.....lol).

But it was fixed/changed. Now Jedi are expoiting an unintended loophole in duel to remove BHs' first strike/suprise which is their main weapon against Jedi
and keep in mind that if the jedi sees you and has the time to /duel you before you realize you shouldn't just sit there, and try and fly away or jump off and attack, that he already knows why your there, its just confirmation.

Yeah but it took OVER SIX DAMN MONTHS. Fact is comparedto how many bh's used /duel exploit this is an utter joke.
i saw someone ride his swoop and use a flamethrower a long long time ago.....wouldnt tell me how he did it tho. Prolly one of those rare 1 time bugs cause iv never seen it since
it isn't a bug...its working as intended....you only want it changed so that you can lure a jedi into a duel under the premise of it being friendly only to db for a payout or so you can sit around in an area pretending to do something else and wait until they are weak...neither of which is fun or fair...you still have first strike, you take it at the time of your choosing, and if you decide to follow your mark around like a lost puppy, it's your fault if he's on to you. its still very possible to catch a Jedi by suprise.

The duel bug loses the BH his one and only advantage, suprise. The term is first strike i.e. unexpected, out of the blue. The Jedi should have no idea he is being hunted until the BH strikes. We're not crying to have uber armour or weapons or "I win" buttons. we just want the game to work as intended.
I'm sure most of the BH would be more than happy for pearl drops to be fixed for you guys if we could still have droids that worked and the element of suprise/first strike back

The thing that amuses me about this argument is that I've never used /duel on an approaching dot to see if they are coming for me. If I'm in a place where another player coming up on my radar is out of the ordinary (such as out grinding), then I assume they are there for me. But I've already read posts on this forum that state bounty hunters think my use of radar is unfair also. Seriously, you guys won't be happy until taking our mission causes our prone, naked bodies to instantly warp to your location.

The fact you have to justify its use proves it is an unintended effect.
FYI, the old BH /duel exploit (yes it was an exploit, and people should have been banned for it) was able to be circumvented. All the jedi had to do was accept the duel. You can't circumvent the Jedi /duel exploit.

BH complain about jedi being too stong for 1v1, jedi tell them to suck it up and wait for the right time. BH complain about jedi being able to figure out whether or not a BH has a mission on them, this jedi cries that a BH waiting for the right time isn't "fun or fair".

I don't want any bugs or exploits
The old bug meant that if the BH challenged a jedi to a duel then attacked him, the jedi couldn't fight back until he accepted which was a bug and was exploited and quite rightly it was fixed.
This new bug means that a Jedi can find out if someone has his mission, when he isn't supposed to know until the BH attacks. This gives the Jedi time to take his foods and start his macros or cloak and run, thus removing the BH's one weapon, surprise. the only way most BH can beat a full temp jedi is when they are weak, hence "dirty tricks" The BH is suppose to decide the time and the place of the ambush.
If this exploit was fixed then there'd be no point challenging the BH to a duel and a Jedi would have to be a complete fool anyway to challenge or accept a duel from someone with MBH in their badges.
