"Word around the campfire was that Jedi wouldn't put their premiums into overloaded sabers, just in case they were taken away.

What they would do is just farm crappy perals and use the worst/cheapest resources in the sabers. It woulnd't matter because they'd have abnormally low Force Cost and really high damage.

And when/if they were caught they'd still have the good premiums to use on a good legit saber."

That's exactly what "smart" exploiters do, they go over the limit but not far enough to be THAT noticable- I once knew a Jedi that used FR1 and a speed hack to run as fast as FR3 and we knew for a fact he did NOT have master enhancer and he even had novice brawler at the time.

There was a thread similar to this overloading LS issue in the Jedi forum last week, 800+ dmg with 8 FC, to the naked eye it isn't noticable, and one of my Jedi has among the highest dmg LS on the server and I have seen someone do WAY more dmg than I have according to the combat log (roughly 500-600 more dmg on same target).

Simply do the procedure of reporting and filing a ticket and if possible contacting a CSR in the launchpad chat.

Yeah, report the exploiters. Especially the saber overloaders. If you can't play by the rules...you shouldn't play at all.

I reported already 10 jedi or more since i play but no one got banned so far not even for a week. I had timestamps and screenys...

Ever thought of the possibility all the bugs jedi can use are working as intended for the devs ? Its just too strange that the same bugs now who exist since 2 years are being implemented again and again. They are only pulled out of the script when people cry too much. when the majority forgot about that they are thrown in again.

Just my opinion.

I knew people that exploited there sabers just because they had no good crystals. So what they'd do is make their saber = to a flawless 4th gen (except FC) because the damage would be very close, there would be no suspicions

Jedi who made 600+ sabers were begging to get reported.

a simple solution would be to have the /open command(not sure if that is the exact command). basically it was a command where you could see what armor/weapons a player has equipped. before you attack a mark you can use this command and examine what exactly you are up against as well as seeing if someone is exploiting the system.

Does this seriously work on other players?

not anymore no. But at one point, it let you see everything a player was carrying execept what was in backpacks. I'm pretty sure that no longer works however. (This was introduced back when they first put in the lottery loot system)

it did, i know there were specific areas you can do it in. i used this in the theed sp and a few other sp's to see what kind of tctics to use. imo this would be something very valuable to all players, but it would benefit bh's greatly. and it would alos keep exploiters in check. double sliced armor, overloaded sabers, etc.

Between all the exploited sabres and pre-CU sabres, they ought to delete all sabres, give everyone an average crystal and pearl, and be done with it.

Theamount of exploiting is just getting silly.

now that i think of it, maybe this could be put back into the game. do any of you think this will be used as an exploit/gamebreaking or do you think it would be cool to have it? i might start a post to see what people would think, not just bh's btw.

If memory serves me right; the /open was removed from the game when a bug allowed players to loot non-lootible items in testing (players where stealing Night Sisters stun batons, mission terminals, and other items)

But I digress; wouldn't it be nice if we (MBHs) could load Multiple PU's in to our weapons too.
