You know just after april 2004 ( when I started playing) I loved the game. Alot of people did talk to you roleplaying somewhat and no not all of them primarily roleplayed, they just were obviosuly starwars fans.

Now, well it's all LFG, WTB WTS. BUFFING AFK. General in game talk is therebut it is more we're playing a game talk these days than any kind of virtual starwars world enviroment speak.

I agree.......I honestly loved sitting in a cantina listening to other people role-play.......most of it was hilarious......but now that entertainers don't have a use and Battle Fatigue is gone........why even go into a cantina??? for a little 10% buff.........I think they have lost sight of what the game is supposed to be.......an emmersive online world.........not an action game.......

That reminds me of the old Quake days when you could replace everyone's models with southpark figures and such......seeing Cartman with a rocket launcher was a h00t!

Don't be offended.......I don't mean to bash the younger kids........I'm sure some of you out there have been taught Tact and common sense.....and manners.......but a lot haven't.......and that's OK.....being a kid is about not having any worries and having fun.........but in a game that I'd bet falls more in the 18-25 year old range of marketing.........it can be a bit annoying to those people. I had a guild mate once who was 13......and he was fine.........but if you've seen the typical "come on man wanna duel" Aww man I'd own you..........wanna see my lightsaber?? That stuff is bothersome to me........

so is everyone that shoots a weapon around starport a showoff, or just the jedi?

I'm not advocating removing Jedi......I just think we need checks and balances......and BHs currently aren't the balancer......nor can they anymore since removing names.......that way if you've seen a Jedi by the starport......you get their name go get the mission and come back.............since that's out.......I think the TEF system would work. Don't compare everyone else to Jedi either? Again looking back to continuity......you're not supposed to be allowed to stand around with a lightsaber......if rifles were outlawed.....I'd say the same thing about riflemen hanging out with illegal weapons.

I say if a jedi is dueling near a starport and is last more then 30 minute or so then a squad of the emperior personal jedi hunters show up to finish the jedi off and they be like double gold elite cl 85 and there be about 8 or them
