TBH, you're right it probably would. But that brings us to another problem in itself, why are BH marks dropping things that BHs dont need? Instead of having BH marks drop smuggler loot, why arent there smuggler missions, so they can get them themselves? Why the heck are BH marks dropping jedi CAs? IMO, the BH marks should only drop loot that is useful to a BH.
I saw this posted elsewhere, and I think I'll copy and paste it here as well:
A mission for a BH should not be dropping loot that isnt designed for a BH.
If you loot a +25 GRS? Gratz.
If you loot a Exceptional Proton Carbine, with 2000 max damage? Gratz, hope you never get my mission
If you loot a +10 1 handed Ls speed, +20 GMA? I have an issue with that.
I think the time is right for the DEVs to introduce a method for all professions to obtain high-end loot for themselves, as they have done in lapses previously. Some might not understand my point, but those who have been profession locked out of their own loot content will understand, i hope.

Hmmmm, refresh my memory.....when exactly did jedi have content to get good loot, that nobody else in the entire game had access to but them?
And knowing the devs, the loot re re revamp probably wont come until about Pub. 50, and then they'll nerf it back in Pub51 anyway 
First off I have a MBH and a Jedi and my only beef is that loot in this game is so screwed up already anda Dev goes andadds loot to one small portion of the entire population. I hate to say it but that is just not right. I also am worried about adding all of these new things when they have yet to truely balance the game when they said that was there goal in the CU. I think we are just heading in the same direction that we were in before. We are going to be doomed to a never ending cycle of nerfs and balances just to keep subscriptions going (cynicism). This really shows me that the left hand does not have a clue what the right hand is doing at SOE. Oh and I love that one of the loot items people with bounty hunter is getting is crystals. Now thats rich.
Please in no way take this that I think the loot needs to be nerfed or taken away, what I am saying is that I really amgetting tired of seeing Jedi and BH getting all of the attention of the DEVs. (remember read my first sentence before flaming.

They are not completely exclusive as if you are there when the mark uses an area attack and it hit you you can then stomp the npc and get the loot if you can outdamage the bh Had a friend have his stolen by a Jedi BH who just happened to be there at his mission

Jebus! Some people are NEVER happy. This is probably the same guy who complains about getting attacked by Bounty Hunters and doesn't want to be hunted, but as soon as they give him something to pull us away from him, he complains that he doesn't have it, too.

Because they may have been appropriate loot items when there weren't tons and tons of jedi. Not every jedi needs a fantastically powerful saber.

Oh Plse Unless your a New Jedi you know Darn well the Loots that could be had were not only camped by jedi but sold at high cost by there Merchant alts. Plse dont take me for a respec nooblet. Its a Known fact it was that way. Yeah jedi didnt have missions jedi didnt have alot of the fancy droids. but they do get a free toon on same server and a planet to grind on.
Should we be able to loot yes same as it is now yes. Why Well look at it this way most of what we are looting is so high priced it will lower the economy. yeah i know hurts the jedi pockets but to bad. Frankly all Slice loots i get im giving away to Smugglers. All other CA non jedi related are given away aswell. Jedi CAs will be and have been sold top Credit.

Yes, I do indeed realize that jedi camped places to get good CA/AAs. I also realize jedi did DJK/DJM missions for the +25 ones. But, the difference is that everybody had the oppurtunity to do them. Any smuggler/pistoleer could also go out and do those missions (esepcially with they're old roots/daze thing). That certainly was not something put there solely for thejedi profession.
And yeah, thats what I've been saying. There needs to be more of this stuff for the non-jedi. I personally would love to see the next publishes not touch either the jedi or BH professions in any way. No content, no bugfixes, nothing. I would actually like to see the smugglers get a publish or 2 just for themselves. Thats where the devs attention needs to be.

Smugglers and Rangers need more than a patch. They need what was promised but put off for the jedi Publishes and then again for the CU then again for the FRS. I think they have been hit rather hard from our petty Cries for nerfdom. Let us go get our loots you go grind your profession in safty.

You have a point, but it looks as if SOE is starting to expand the content for more and more professions. Look at CH, regardless of what kind of grind it adds and the effect on vets, it is some real content for the profession. They may not get to it right away, but I have hope. Jedi are the last profession that should be complaining anyway. There is so much content related to that profession, with the village quests, padawan trials, the FRS if they ever reinstate that, and just the general cool star warsiness of being a jedi.
As to your second paragraph I agree there, why not up the loot, or at least the ability to spawn boss MOBs from NPC lairs with good loot. Tie these to missions only so they can't be camped and make them random and more rare than BH missions since they can be done with a group.
Either way, BH deserve this, just like any prof deserves good things to happen to them. It just happened to BH this time, which is a major profession in this game played by a lot of subscribers.
