Thread: LOS Exploit
No one will, I sent a ticket about this one night right after that CSR went haywire on a different server and spawned the sentinels to kill an entire grinding group down there......his response was somethingabout how the LOS zone is considered bugged and the devs are working on fixing it but their policy as of now is not to take any action against players who EXPLOIT thezone. I suggested they reconsider their policy and he said you're welcome. LOL

u guys finding jedi using this? especially on the rryatt trails. the ones not afk run strait to that bridge to exploit LOS so they can't get shot. I got a screenie of a guy admitting to using the exploit in spatial.
nub. they can be warned and banned for repeted use. i have seen a CSR come down to it and see it lol.
get a ranger friend to plant a base camp as close to the bridge as possible. If done correctly it levels out the terrain and the LOS bug is corrected. Then kill the sploiter and wait for the hate tells of doom rofl

Those LOS spots are everywhere even falling on the trail floor is a neat trick. It works for everyone, even in the Shadowlands. In effect to complete some of the quests one would be wise to use it. And again I say it is working as intended. Many folks have issues with the fact that LOS is now a built in game feature that effects comabt outcomes. My advice use it or lose the fight. I don't see it changing, otherwise BH lamers would want to shoot through rocks, tree, and buildings. Ever find and LOS on a hill side? I have.
The problem is the BH has a clear LoS, just the combat system thinks he doesnt.
If this is such an intended "feature", how come they are fixing the LoS bugs on the 5th level of the Trail?
If this is such an intended "feature", how come CSRs are forcing other toons on follow and walk them out of those spots so they become attackable again?

Because people will say anything to further their own belief that they're infallible.

Infallible? No. Trail user? At one time I did. Wasn't aware that CSRs were interferring on behalf of other players. At this point don't care if they are. I just seems that all this discussion about game mechanics and the lack of consistency in development points to howthe SWGgaming systemis borked. In essence, anyone who is short sighted and not looking to maintain a tactical advantage will lose in many engagements. Personally, I don't care about it at this point. Did I use it to my advantage while grinding jedi? You bet your sweet bippy I did. And I did it during 2x XP, MLS in 3 days, the rest you will have to guess at. Flame resistant suit on, fire way.
Only flame I'd offer up is that you're a self-exclaimed exploiter. But considering I'm not the original owner of my Jedi's account, I don't consider myself infallible either.
and secondly, who ever mentioned ebay? I surely didn't
Yeesh, people - just move on. This is all so not worth getting worked up over.
At this point, the Devs are more than aware of the LOS problems. If a Jedi uses it, just move on. Getting all bent out of shape about it and calling CSR's to come get the shmo out just does 2 things:
1) it wastes YOUR time from going and getting another Jedi, while you wait on a CSR to come play God and move the Jedi
2) prevents you from getting more money from other Jedi missions against people who aren't LOS exploiting on the trail.
Why is it so important to get a CSR involved and get that Jedi's wrists slapped? I mean, come on - look at all the CSR's who've moved/punished Jedi who've done this. Has it prevented others from doing it? No. It's an exercise in futility - until they fix the problem, just move along. Save yourself the wasted time and all the aggravation.
