Why Novice Doc? Your heals will be nowhere near what a CM 4000 can produce.

Quicker cooldown timers .I get a little over a 1000 per bacta shot plus a couple hundred for bact jab. I can alternate these one after the other and have a full health bar in no time. I can also heal my own wounds and give myself a nutrient shot whenever I can't finda doctor, which these days happens frequently.

I find my healing is fairly easy outdone by KD spam, and the KD bug that seems to gets me stuck on my back all too often.

I do the stim D/Ruby Bliel routinewhile on my back, and as needed, as well as alternating heals as an MBH/MP/CM 4/0/0/0, but I still can't seem to keep healing upas often as I get knocked down when fighting Jedi one on one.

Maybe I'm just fighting too many Master Sabers or something...

I also have both ranged arms, so I guess the armor hole issue may be at play. However, I just feel like I spend most of the time in a fight onmy back whever I fight Jedi one on one.

Those arms are your problem.Check the stats on them and I think they are negative for melee defense, which is a big no no when fighting jedi. I know the arm that the guy in bestine gives you was like -10 in melee defense.Definetely not worth it to me for just a little more range.

Of course healing is going to be affected with the next patch. Not being a master CMC or master doc will shave some points off your heals, but it will still be very effective. I think

I hope not too much. We really need it against jedi.

If I read the notes right healing will be affected by your healing efficiency. A master doc or CM will heal more than a novice. Currently they heal the same. The healing has been bugged since patch 18 (?) where the basic bacta shot was healing at the master level. Same with medic. One of the skill trees has healing efficecieny mods which will affect how much you heal for. I believe 4/0/0/0 CM is the poison tree and doesn't have many or any healing efficieny modifiers (i think, i could be way off, and I am at work and can't check). So with just that tree you will see a reduction in heals. How much, we'll see later today I guess if the patch comes out. Personal stims are unaffected I think. With a bacta enhancer, it'll probably be about the same healing, or close to. But this is just a guess. From the TC notes:

Profession: Combat Medic, Doctor's and Medics

The Advanced version of Bacta Shot, Bacta Toss, Bacta Spray, and Bacta Jab will now heal more damage than the Improved or standard version of the same ability by a medic with the same Healing Efficiency
Players will always use the best version of the bacta heal available to that player

*delurking on the BH forums. might be here soon*

CM's who are 4000, (the most left tree IS the heal tree, thats why so many players have it) wont get hurt by the "nerf". the top box has the advanced bacta spray and the third one has the adv toss. what the notes say is that the advanced versions will be healing for higher than the improved and reg versions. the master box adds only efic. and that can be gotten with sea's.

so imho, no worries.
