Hehe, now which came first, the chicken or the egg? My attitude did not just appear out of nowhere, it is a result of reading about the dishonorable tactics, such as this, used by a majority of BH. There is no honor in the BH profession.

I don't believe the orginal poster that he's getting paid off. The first thing I tell Jedi is 1) never pay them off and 2) don't talk to them.

The profession may change as the respecs disappear, we'll see.

And my attitude just didn't appear out of nowhere either. With the childish tells and flames I see in game, or the Jedi slapping 5's and speaking in some language I dont understand " I pwnzerd joo" or some crap like that really makes it hard to be honorable as you state.. As you say " There is no honor in the BH profession" Thats a big brush to paint everyone in.. very stereotypical, thus why Jedi are hated by everyone. Go to any other forum besides the Jedi one and see how much your loved.

what if the Jedi offers to pay you...then what? I dont know bout you but I want the cash. Why take a chance on him escaping or being hit by a bug. They cant ban you for this.

Agreeing to take the cash to drop the mission and then welsh on your word and kill the Jedi anyway. Im sorry but that is BS. I support killing Jedi by any Means necessary if your a BH, even thou i have both Jedi and BH chars. But scamming like that should be a bannable offence. You are also ruining things for your fellow bh's and undermining their trustbase. Truth be told i have never heard of anyone breaking that "gentlemans agreement" before. I hope you are thorougly banned from shops and cities everywhere on your server if you persist with this discusting behaviour. Your about 1 peg from the "account hacker" on my SWG lowlifeladder.

If you told him you would drop the mission if he paid you and he in fact did pay you, but you didnt fulfill your part of the agreement, he could file a harassment ticket concerning trade fraud.

I really think the BH vs Jedi situation in game is relay bad for both professions. I would never pay a BH to drop my mission even if I knew he was going to kill me. As a jedi, it is sad thatit makes a personfeel it is the other player that is truly taking something from you when you are killed. It makes you hate them and I mean truly hate them. Just like in the earlier post of the Imp BH killing the Imp jedi. There is no honor. The people in the movies I respect most and strive to be like are the ones that act in an honorable fashion. That is the jedi I strive to be though it is very hard in the current environment. I realize it will not change as the system sits now. Many play the game just to kick the piss out of another person. Being a RL girl that is not where it's at for me. I have read many post from the developers and players that show much promise. I eagerly await those changes. I would really like to see more PVE based content for both professions.

In response to the takig payment and killing him anyway. I've heard that it is banable ifthe BHrequests payment to drop the mission. If the Jedi makes the offer/payment it's the BHs choice as to weather or not to respect the agreement. While it's a questionable tactic one could look at it this way. The BH has to follow through on the terms of the agreement he made when accepting the mission to kill the Jedi. If he can make a few more bucks while doing it then so be it.

If a BH takes a contract from Jabba to kill someone and makes an agreement with that someone for a certain amount of credits. Doesn't complete his agreement with Jabba. Is that BH gonna:

#1. Be around to do more missions ?

#2. Have his services requested by others after it's learned that he can be bought off and kill his/her target?

The answer to both is most likely a NO.

BH have to use every tactic they can to gain the advantage and ultimately the kill. If accepting money gets the Jedi to lower their guard and allows the BH to get the kill then I say more power to him/her. If a Jedi wants to deal with the devil then expect to get burned from time to time.

Taking another players credits is just wrong. There is know way to justify it, yes people roleplay but aren't we all players as well.?
