No one can ever complain...... you gonna complain about Jedi Wars? Then go to the classic servers and shut the heck up. You want to be a jedi? Well its easy as 1-2-3, go to all the other servers that allow you that option.
You WANT to hunt Jedi? Then go to the typical Jedi Wars servers - lol - good luck.
You want a GCW that is less out-of-whack than it is now in its Jedi Wars form? Go to a classic Server.
Its as easy as that. Hell yes bugs will exsist..... but a lot of stuff would be solved. AND, most importantly, SOE makes more cash by bringing in and back
players that are anti-jedi or those more prone to a time line.
Makes sense.

As I stated before people will complain because something will have something that they do not. It is going to happen.
You fail to look inot the history of this game. People are very predictable, you have heard the term "History repeats itself" Right?
That phrase applies to Human nature and moving a server to be no Jedi will not stop human nature. You can try to argue it if you want, but really that would make you a blinded fool. Look at the past and you will see your future. Nothing will change, except for the fact that some other profession will fall under the "Hate Bat".
Combat Upgrade. Balanced most non-Jedi professions.
At least when Creature Handlers ruled, it was fun.
Cannot say that about Jedi.

If Classic Servers ever come about over the life span of SWG as a MMORPG - you dont like them - so you dont ahve to play on them

The more Jedi on my server the better. I would like to play on a server with "extra" Jedi.

Though with Classic Servers - it would allow those that do not want to play on Jedi Wars servers an outlet to play on serves w/ NO jedi.
THIS allows for SOE to create another stream for money/PROFIT.

/agree... On slightly the same token I know Ultima Online has a bunch of PLAYER RUNfreeservers for people to connect to and play on these days.. Not sure if this was due to them accidentally releasing some client files on an expansion waaaay back and letting people see what it took to run a server?? I know SWG is a way more intensive bandwidth, ram, cpu game than Ultima but would this be possible,?Probably be really expensive though for someone to run I'd imagine.I could see someone opening a classic style server if this ever became possible and affordable. Oh and if there are some out there now that people just arent mentioning shoot me a pm I'd love to try it out.

I like the idea of "classic servers" myself, except I don't think they would last long.
Eventually, players who have Jedi on the regular servers would grow tired of fighting nothing but other Jedi and the occasional BH, and would create a standard character on the classic servers to come and play with non-Jedi. Soon, though,they would begin to whine and complain about how they can't have a Jedi on the classic servers, and SOE would cave and allow Jedi on the classic servers b/c no one would be playing on the regular servers, and the whole mess would start over again.

You may be right about how the whole mess would start all over again..But atleast this time, it would be a fresh start, and maybe...Just Maybe..SOE would have learned from thier mistakes and find a population control for the Jedi somehow.
