All the above statements taken into account...if your mark is a swim-log pattern...MCH is great...nothing like hitting for 400 per tick without the jedi able to do anything. That said...very few still swim. (working on an all-damage non-CH BE pet for just this purpose)
Call me a noob, but what is "swim-log pattern"?
After you've hunted jedi as long as I have...you learn to watch how certain jedi escape...even if you're not the one hunting them. Certain jedi like to swim out into the middle of a large body of water and either go AFK or log out there. It's what they do, and it becomes a pattern that's predictable. Thus..."Swim-log pattern". *shrug* Not really that much to it.

guys, the equations have changed. you have to look at the results from test center. the pets have new skills not been tested in live, and the old pets will not be converted, so it will just take time to see accurate results.

I'm a MCH/MBH with some pistoleer and medic. My score versus full template Jedi (the only ones on the terms on my server) post publish 20 is 10 wins, 5 losses, and 1 draw. If I win, I usually win in the first 10 seconds. I use 3 high damage BE pets and a combat droid and together the 5 of us hit for something like 500 DPS after all modifications. So, if the Jedi doesn't get his healing up, he's dead in 6 seconds. Things get a lot tougher when the Jedi survives and takes down my pets one by one and then it's just me versus him, but I sometimes still pull out the victory (basically with half my template). On rare ocassions, I'm able to revive my pets in the middle of the fight by healing them.
