Thread: Ok, how do you win against high lvl marks? I am getting whipped?
What weapon are you using, and what specials? How do you open up the combat? And are you using duelist stance?

Anyway like i said, armor helps ALOT against NPCs.
That's because I'm not a MBH yet. I'm still doing the investigation xp grind. I didn't want to give him any advice as the marks I'm killing right now I can do without any armor and barely a decent weapon.
Well in that case i'll just ignore you. 
Btw Athos, assault armor is not best for these marks, they tend to use energy blasters. So use armor with high energy resists.
Assault armor can have 6k+ energy resists but gotta get that custom made.
Looks like a good build ( I don't have Medic...I just use Stim Ds )
A few things:
1) Armor: If you are using Pre Cu armor, throw it away. Go out and buy some newly crafted Post CU Armor, it will be better. ( At least that's the case for all my armor )
2) Food & Spice: I use Ahrissa, Pikatta Pie, Blob Candy and Bofa Treat with Neutron Pixie. ( Others use different things of course but I would suggest using something. ). Ithorian Mist for ranged accuracy can be useful too, as can the Thundercloud.
3) Weapon: Not sure what kind of weapon you are using. Try to get a good balance between SAC and Damage. A lower SAC lets you fire more rapidly without tiring. ( If you can get a WS to make you one, then have it speed sliced, perhaps with a little to Damage in the slice)
Live and breath spice.
( This coming from a MBH/MS so take it for what it's worth ! )
I use Neutron Pixie since I dont have any medic, and use stim-D's. I run with ruby bliel, and then either Breath of Heaven, Mando Wine, or Kiwick Clusters ( I know I spelled that one wrong ! ) From there, normal combat, especially if he's ranged. Use your knockdowns and so on. If he's melee, I like snaring, and then kiting for as long as possible.
Since you are doing some of your own med work, and not Stim-D's, I'd recommend instead of Neutron Pixie, that you try out Booster Blue, since it has better mind benefits.

Yup..I had a mark with 20k ham today and when I first started the fight he was invincible...in the combat spam he was taking damage, but it was not registering....I ran away and came back and it started to work..but he was hitting me for 8 points....I killed him laughing....but something tells me this is gonna change tomorrow or something.

And no, i'm not a noob, you are. You have been posting "omg i can't kill jedi! i quit" stuff so quiet.
And besides, i did write some advice. Decent armor+decent weapon should be enough. But go ahead and eat food and puts a PuP on that weapon. You should be fine.
get your duelist stance macroed, I can tank multiple things at once with that on. Use everything from K/D to Startle Shot to delay the mod, more time for you to recover from being hit. Keep a bleed on him as well (although that doesn't really make too much of a difference from what I've noticed)
Also make sure you have your Food stacked. You have heals so use your heals at the same time as the stims.
Nothing much more than that, if you still lose I think your armor is broken/sub-par or maybe your weapon needs an upgrade if you can't kill it fast enough.
Air Cake, Crispic, Blob Candy, Spiced Tea, Ghamorrl(sp), Vegesparsine, Spice of choice, Citrus Snow Cake, Ruby Bliel
Get them and you will have no problem. The Snowcake lasts around 2mins and will bump your bacta shots from 3-400 to 11-1200. Ruby Bliel allows you to use Stim D's on a shorter timer.

It's not the damage dealt with Dualist Stance, it's the added def that would be the benefit...
