Ummm considering assault is not worth much against Jedi and NPC marks, and will get chewed up in 2 weeks if used for PvE does this have any purpose besides home decoration?

Yep, exactly what I was thinking. Bounty Hunter Armor can be used for everything EXCEPT for bounty hunting.

I would so get myself some BH armor made if it wasn't for one problem... EVERYONE is going to be running around in this crap in about two weeks. I may rock out the gloves and/or boots... or maybe a shoulder peice or two, but just for added effect. I'll probably stick to my energy plated RIS and Marauder.

To be fair, that AS made it with a layer that increases kinetic protection at the cost of reduced energy resists.

It could very well as easily be made with a layer that does the opposite and you'd see stats close to battle armor.

just a pity assault armour sucks for energy resists, ill be sticking to my energy layered RIS aswell as someone else mentioned..

even with energy layered assault the best resists your talking with uber server res is 6k max
