Wow, what are you guys doing wrong?
I took 3 missions last night, all turned out to be silver chevron bosses, 35k ham.
Two of them i took out w/ my carbine (947 max, 320dps) without ever needing to heal. i got knocked down a couple times, but stood right back up. i was at about 40% health when they fell. got some decent loot.
I also have novice cm, but only healed on the first mark. then i determined i was wasting time healing, as I could reduce their health to nothing before they could do the same to me.
this is with ASSAULT ARMOR on - 7100 kinetic, 5k energy, 6k base, a psg, and duelist stance.
only foods were pixie, blob candy and bofa treat.
Its just not that hard.
The lvl 88 dark adepts i ran into near one of my marks was actually a good fight. i was down to 200 health (trying to heal) before i killed them.
Bullsh!t flag... you didn't have a boss mark obviously... sorry, try again.
wow, you whine alot.

Something I figured out to do which reduces the amount of dmg done to you from these marks. Is go in close get them to go melee on you then kite them until they go ranged again then get close again and run until they die also there melee dmg is less than there ranged.
also make sure to use the right foods like pixie or booster blue (spice) and wafers for dmg reduction and ruby biel and stims and you should have a much better chance than just standing there and shooting at them.
HAHA! You dont take them both at once do you?

Some marks are bugged or something. I've been getting hit for over 300 and sometimes over 400 damage. I have 7.8K+ energy resist and take all the appropriate foods but I still get hit hard. It takes a little time to take the mark but it's no cake walk. It's definately not something I can AFK.
take some damage reduction food, bofa treat and spice tea while stil in Kaadara, booster blue as you get there, I have some synthsteak with 30 filling so I can take 3 in a fight which gives about 135 seconds of reduced damage, which is just about enough to kill the mark.

Just a small question on this - what do you mean by "kite"?
This is aterm used to describe keeping your target at a distance that they cannot attack you but you can still attack them. Picture if you will leading the mark around by a string similar to flying a kite.

Longest it's ever taken me was four minutes on a mark with about 36k ham.

My first 32k I had trouble with. I won, but it was a long-ass knockdown drag-out fight.
It's pretty forumlaic for me now, however.
Land on the mark's planet, launch seeker, leave the starport hop on the bike toward the last known location of the mark while waiting for seeker updates. Cruise along till 80m from the mark, hop off, summon droid. Group droid, head toward mark, /tellpet stay from about 40m out (depending on LOS to target). Eat food on the way to the mark. Take a pistol booster. Get on the opposite side of the mark from my droid. Paralyse, apply states, DS, Drop dots on the guy. /Tellpet attack and prepare to heal as needed. Loot up.

I get to the guy, drink a Vasarian Brandy if he's a boss. KD, Torso spam mixed with Adv Crit and he's down.

@ bosses in a row ( first 2 missions taken after patch ). Could'nt take them alone. 31k and a 36k. At range with battle armor ( MBH + Mcarbs + CM 4000 ) I could stand toe to toe and heal got them to half health before I ran out of mind ...even with foods / spices ). Consodering different foods / template adjust.

"I took 3 missions last night, all turned out to be silver chevron bosses, 35k ham."
One thing wrong with that comment, the 30K+ guys has GOLD chevrons, the silver chevron guys usually has 18K+ health which are quite a bit easier. Though there has been bugged marks out there that did only 20-50 dmg but mine sure as hell did 450-700 depending on weapon, the 18K guys average 200-350 dmg (after armor of course).

I have killed over twenty of the new NPC marks and am MBH MCarbs 0304 pistols i wear 6k across the board bone armor and only had a problem with 1 mark level 82 double gold bracket 35.5k ham with duelist stance on he hit for 200-350 every second and had insane regen after being endcapped twicehad to have a friend come heal me constantly while I pounded away for a few minutes. Have fought single silver bracket elites up to 84 and a few level 81 double golds and the 82 double gold was the only one i had trouble with the others hit for 250 or less and not as often and dont have the regen of the 82 double elite didn't check the ham as they where dead too fast some took a little longer but none got me below 75% health and i was able to regen that on the way back to the terms. if you hit a 82 or better double elite pop thundercloud crispix and blob, and keep the bliel and stims handy or call a healer over to help.
