Lowering a BHs mobility means he cannot follow the Jedi as efficiently - same reason BH speeders are a prime target for Saber Throws before an escape. Its only griefing if you ban a player for having a MBH tag in the bio or showing a Novice BH title. If you ban him after he actually attacked a Jedi resident within city limits its slowing down future attacks.

As i said, it does not prevent me from killing the jedi it just makes it harder/more annoying/difficult/whatever.

I think city banning should be removed from the game cause it doesent serve any good whatsoever. Banning people from buildings is a different matter. Or perhaps you should be able to use the shuttle but not everything else in town.. i dont know.. but i think something should be done

Exactly that is the point. You try it once, and you will have a harder time doing it the next time. More time involvement per Jedi for you means less Jedi killed over a given period of time

Only if you get banned before doing anything - if youre banned after actually causing harm to a resident, its your fault. I dont want people causing harm to residents in my city, so you get a ban after you do it. It will be more effort for you to cause harm again.

Our profession is about causing harm, i do what my profession allows me to do. Thats my job. Im doing nothing wrong, im just playing my professions like its supposed to be. But not all people see it that way and the system allows them to grief us for whatever reason they have.

I think its wrong.. Perhaps you should be banned from every city for being "template pending"? hehe

No seriously, no other profession gets banned for being what they are. BH should not be banned from a city for being BH and hunt jedi just as chef should not be banned for making food

But no one says it has to be made easy for you! Your purpose is a negative one (to kill someone, cause xp loss, forced pvp), so don't be supprised by a negative reaction

What .. your expected them to line up by the BH terminals and say "I'm brian! Pick me !"

I find it especially funny that you say "All Jedi have crafter alts that make the best ...". Sure i won't fault you for doing your job, but we have the right to refuse any customer don't we? Just doing our job too ... *grins*

I once led a BH on a chase across 5 planets and 10 starports. I finally got bored and went to the city that I reside in. I waited a few minutes, and sure enough, in shuttles the BH. Instant city ban, then I logged off and went to sleep.

It is the only consequence that a BH can face for a PvP action that they initiate. I have also banned all the BHs that have ever hunted me from my shops, since there is no way that I'll let them buy my stims.

"blah blah blah, you knew what you were getting into before you became a jedi, blah blah blah"

Well, BHs should know what they are getting into if they chase a jedi to the jedi's city. Works both ways.

Of cause i know ill get enemies and i have no problem with that. My problem is that there are game mechanics that allow them to make my life more difficult than it allready is because of their oppinion.

Some jedi/people think that BH's are one of the coolest parts of the game and adds content, some people think BH's are a pain and should be removed from the game and some does not care but still mindlessly rushes to ban you on sight just because you are a BH... I don't think that there should be game mechanics that allow their oppinion to grief my profession as they can now if they want.

I agree that banning on sight for just wearing a BH title or having the MBH badge is lame. I myself have the MBH badge and frequently get a "who are you here for" question even though I dropped BH some time ago.
However, being banned after actually attacking within city limits is fair game.

You know how BH's are always saying that we knew we'd be hunted if we became Jedi, and how we shouldn't have become Jedi if we didn't want to deal with forced PvP..? I think you can draw your own conclusions on where I'm going with this....

I would like to see shuttle banning removed but you want my prefession/me removed?

Is this here most would say: "drag yourself to your own board and nerf yourself as you are best at and let us talk about problems targeting our profession?"
