Thread: KILLING JEDI ON KASHYKK IS EASY, Here are the steps 1,2,3 have fun! (not a joke)
They root you, you root them!
They send one of yours to the cantina, you send one of theirs to the cloning station! It's the bounty hunter way!
I've killed a few Jedi on Kashyyyk before the Pub 20 nerf... I just wish they would put names back on the terms....
the last guy I killed there I sat and watched him grind for like 5-10 min he was CL 80 the bounty was around 150k so I knew he wasn't full temp yet....
when I saw a big group of wooks spawn and they were all fighting his health dropped, I hit him with everything I had and incapped him pretty quick... then I felt bad because I usually just challangethe lower jedito a straight fight. I mean this poor guys just grinding ya know so I turned and started to leave.. well he got up healed and started running after me so I hit him again and killed him... he sent a hate tell and I replyed saying i let him live so he should have stayed in his group... it was kinda funny ...
anyways yeah I don't mind hunting jedi on Kashyyyk.... I just wish they would put names back on terms and make it so the terms actually show jedi that are online... because of right now I can't hunt... every mission I have taken has came back saying that my targets offline...
IRECYCLE
Like I said bub all it takes is effort, I found a way around the target not onlne bug already, I'll post later but here is a quickie.
stand at the terms and pull the mission, lanuch arkkyd right at the term. it will tell you target not online or "you need bio sig" I did it about 8 times and got the "you need bio sig" then I went to the informant, came back got out of the city and got the dreaded 'taget not online" well i did it again and agian and again with the same mission and the arkyd (your not wasting the droid , he wont go up), at about the tenth time it picks up my mark in space on corellia (is this the corvette? no idea never been there)...well i'll do more research but chances are if this jedi is there I'll get him...just be persistent and dont be so negative. I tell you the odds up front, kashykk is a bout a 33% success rate, not bad at all. 50% afk, 25% run for their life 25% kick your a$$, you just need to know what you are doing and complain less.

Leave the kashykk Jedis where they want to be , it is the easiset way to kill them it just takes effort.I speak from first hand exprience so save your breath if you think I am crazy.
I have gone out and done it.
Step 1 Getting to the instances is easy and you will find half of them afk, easy way to rack up kills. Get the trail guide quest, go to the three levels and you will never have to fight your way to web weaver path again, you can just instantly warp there from the gate.Be creative on how to avoid the spiders getting to the wookie village, spend sometime at the front to see how Jedi get there (they have it down to a science and won't get hit, I would rather not post how to do it, you need to see it yourself...it is quite an education and every jedi reading this post knows what I am talking about) spend one night just watching, visit every intance, take a list of names down, more to keep track of how populated the instances are. As an example I go to one certain instance first and usually find my mark, only because the jedis love this one instance, this may vary form server to server, you have to find the rhythm of your server.
When you see them grouped in their tight circle in the village use tab and cycle thorugh the radials, you will see the "attack" on the radial thus indentifying your mark.
Here is my Kashykk record , out of about15 tries , where I actually showed up to Kashykk(I have never died but dropped at least 10 due from fear of getting my a$$ kickedand other guys who made it to the bridge) I have gotten a 226, 223, 138, 132 and a 50 only recieving a few hits from the 138 guy. You will find that 50% are afk, 25% always run for the bridge and dont know how to PvP , and if you use stopping shot after a KD, torso, crit combo then follow it up with torso, crit, torso, crit, torso crit it is over in under 30 seconds before they get to the bridge, nothing fancy, no buffs, food, special armor etc..all you need is a bad a$$ weapon .
Then the last 25% are going to kick your ass if you face them head on, sideways, sneakily, from behind, when they are dueling, when they are pre occupied , when they are afk and show up with most of their bar gone..... however you want to attack and even if you have every advantage you will get your face kicked in. You have to have instinct when to drop those missions...that is the real key on Kashykk...when NOT to attack.
It is not that hard you just have to keep plugging away.
Please post to this thread if you go out and kill a jedi using these techniques, to encourgae other BHs not to whine about Kashykk, if the devsever take Kashykk away from being a Jedi grind world, they will be taking the easiest Jedi killing ground in the game.

You could have summed up your entire post in one sentence: "Most Jedi on Kash are AFK"
Well duh.
Yes, your post was very informative on how to kill a target that doesn't fight back. Thank you for the brilliant insight. You also did an excellent job on not telling us how to get to the Feral wookie camp easily. Again, brilliant.
But I can't recall of a single post stating "OMFG!! Those AFK grinders are so hard to kill!" (unless of course it's a MDef with an aura/heal/infusion macro running). No, the problem is that it take 45 minutes to an hour pressing TAB TAB TAB TAB TAB TAB TAB through 6 instances. What, I found him? Gee whiz, KD, Adv Crit, Adv Crit, Adv Crit, DB... that was fun and exciting. Oh boy, that one was 52k, man, I sure love these random payouts.
It's about time we stop bending over and counting our lucky stars everytime SOE corn-holes us. "Thank you for the new publish guys! Can't wait to see how many weeks it takes me to figure out how to get around these nerfs!!"

Samous (big mouth) I just took down a 220K Jedi 10 minutes ago , I'll post about it on another thread. he fought back...and still went down. I have plenty of witneeses that will post in the thread...it was at thekashykk starport....I wonder what you will say in that thread.
I believe you, but you're missing the point.
No one is doubting your abilities as a Bounty Hunter. However, niether of your posts were informative or helpful. I'm not concerned with what to do when I find my mark, I've been doing this job long enough to have figured that out. But it sort of puts a damper on things when I spend an hour either running to and from the informant, or running up and down the rryat trail. I don't find either of these very difficult or engaging, just unreasonably time consuming. Then someone like you makes a post bragging about how easy it is, but doesn't offer anyadvicefor shortening that waste.
Very aggrevating.

Who has time to check all instances? Yes they could be on the trail if the mark is a paddy. Or your mark could be a full template guy who is farming necrosis. I dont have the time to waste running to all trails then finding out the mark is in another instance prob farming necro or doing quest. If kash shows up for me its mission deleted. You already have to spend 30mins to find a mission that is online, let alone waste another 30min traveling to all instances on kashyyyk.
bh like you are the reason jedi go to kashyyk...

And persistent BH like you are why the droids don't give names on Kash.
I intend to continue hunting on Kash as well, but as long as Jedi keep dieing there, something else will be patched in to handicap us even more.
The producers don't want Jedi to be hunted on Kash. Keep at it and I'm sure they'll eventually just remove the TEF there.
