No, a streak like that doesn't indicate bad luck to me.

It's starting to smell ALOT like the old logon/logoff exploit.

I knew it was only a matter of time before a bh suggested that a jedi whom logs off is exploiting............... Good lord, so what should it be? He logs on, you take his mission and he is unable to log out until you kill him?

Is that actually what you are suggesting?

1) Nerfed by the CU - Annoyed

2) SWG destroyed by the NGE - Pisssed

3) Cancellation to nerf the dev's pay check, priceless!!

You do not get a name for jedi on kashyyyk at any point. If you were trying to go above and beyond you have to search every instance and target every jedi. You would also have no idea if they logged off or not.

Wrong on all counts.

1) I'm a Jedi, though I do havea BH I take out to play once in a while.

2) I never said that logging out is an exploit....read the entire thread and maybe you won't come out looking like you do right now.

Is there a thread in this forum you dont friggin troll? If you read it, you would see there is a huge number of OFFLINE messages...perhaps a bug? We are trying to find out if the new pub is bugged (of course it is) and what needs to be done to fix it...NOONE is trying to say a player cant log jerrimy jedi out.

I spent 2 hours earlier testing the "hits and misses" of trying to find a huntable Jedi. Only 2 Jedi during this time were online, trackable and huntable. Most were "offline". At first I thought that the Jedi were back to their shenanigans and tricking the droids into thinking they were offline. Now I don't believe this is the case. There were just too many "offline" Jedi in this time period that it would have to be a well-coordinated conspiracy amongst them all to throw off the droids. My conclusion is that the Devs messed up. I don't see how they could mess up something like this when there was only 4 things bounty hunter related that they changed.

My testing also shows what I was warning everyone about pre-Publish 20 (when everyone was more concerned about the ability to group up with another BH to gank a Jedi): The biggest problems with anonymous missions are: (1) Housesitters AFK in private houses, and (2) Kashyyk Jedi. Now the Devs have added a third major problem: They can't even get the terminals to only show online Jedi.

Below is a log with timestamps of my test.

Hint: Until they fix this (if they fix this), you could quickly check to see if a Jedi is "online" by attempting to launch an Arakyd in front of the informant immediately after you receive the Bio Signature. If the Jedi is "offline" then it will give you the offline error message right there. If the Jedi is "online" then it will tell you to move somewhere else to launch the droid.

I'm going to stop playing my BH for a couple of weeks to see if they fix these major problems, beause it is totally ridiculous to spend two hours just to find a single Jedi you can hunt.

I'll be happy as long as things work as reported....

I must know the name of the person I am hunting, period.

If player jedi were like NPC BH mission targets, all the same, then it wouldn't matter what the target's name was. But every target is different, and part of being a good bounty hunter is knowing who does what, how each target behaves, how they fight. Bounty Hunting is a game of studying and knowing your opponent's weaknesses. I like that Jedi are very powerful, that leaves finding an advantage up to me, that's fun, and challenging. But if player BH missions are completely anonymous (up until actual combat) then it takes alot out of the Bounty Hunting sub-game, and ultimately will promote padawan griefing (which I don't like as I'd prefer trying to outsmart a challenging foe, and not slaming some helpless paddy).

Anyone tryed any NPC missions i tested it to see if they where any harder and got 4 in a row no shows waypoint not updating from seeker on track mode only walk around was launching another probe droid but those cost me profit .. kind of brings a pain of memmory back to old school bh =P. ahh the good old days are they back anyone else have this problem?

Only problems i am having is 1. offline jedi still being listed on the terminals, 2. about 75 percent of the time i used the seek option on my seeker it would return without the name and only a one time use/update and 3. that darn bug where u cant get on ur bike sometimes. The bike bug has been a problem for along time. After wading through those in kassyhk, offline or in space, I was able to take down a 223k and a 225k solo, and by pure luck, another BH and I showed up at the same time and killed a 225k jedi. He got the DB and wouldnt share the bounty though

, lol. J/k. Other then that, wasnt that bad of a patch!

Wow got a npc one to work finaly and after all your complainign about tougher npc missions i get a lvl 85 25k Health target that hits me for 600 - 700 dmg a shot who is a rifleman with max range uses no action and drops no loot thanks fot the complaini9ng guys now tons of challenge and no loot.. if i want to fight nightsisters ill go fight them not some stupid trapper who was poaching =P.. fix the loot for the love of god

I first logged on to try out a BH mission, but had to log off rather quickly. When I logged back in, the mission was gone. I had yet to launch any droids or talk to a SPY Ops, so it wasn't a big deal, but the missions SHOULD last 72 hours.

Bugged in game.
