No offense at all.... but don't you see the irony in that statement? I think SOE abandonded the "timeline" a long time ago, when the made Jedi so easy to get. Originally they were rare, like the timeline dictates. Then almost overnight it seemed that the 5 or 6 jedi on each server became 500 or 600. They still are the smallest demographic around but there are FAR too many of them for my tastes. It's the old argument of "if I wanted to play KOTOR, I would be" It applies, but it's a gripe that can't be stopped at this point. SOE cannot realistically get rid of all the jedi through a number of publishes. They cannot all of a sudden take jedi out of the game. While there may be 500 or 600 (or more) Jedi per server, there are literally 10's of thousands of people working towards getting one with new ones each day.
In my guild, one of the first questions ALL the new people I see ask is: "How do I get a Jedi?" "How do I get glowy", etc.... it's sad really. I think for awhile the content was great, but now it seems that not only do we NEED the Jedi for the high level content, it's also geared spefically to them. I'm speaking for all non-jedi here when I say that it is BS... what about the people who never wanted a Jedi? Like myself and a close group I know.... none of us have ever really cared much about getting a Jedi character. It's not something we were looking for when we got the game. But now with recent publish changes, the availability of Jedi SEAs and less availability of non-jedi SEAs we are seemingly being forced into it. From a PvP standpoint, from a content standpoint, and also from a boredness standpoint. For me... I've done all the content, the quests, etc. Now I need to become a Jedi for something to do..... I think that's sad, really.
This could go on.... but I don't feel the need to you. You all get what I'm saying.

well sort of it lists all professions they masterd
their choice of templated is also limtited to only a few
no melee bh any more skill point require in them went up
all bh who hunt jedi are now MBH
so dosnt leave much room for others maybe 1 elite combat
and most have the healing from either doc or cm if not masters so a limited template set but does have some varity same as jedi
It was irony so i feel not offended

Well jedi are hiding in this timeline and i do agree its not really fair that they can tell what profession we are just by examining us. But if you got the smarts like methen you'll use your instincts to find out what profs the jedi is before you attack. But then again soon as you attack him and he see what your shooting him with (pistol rifle ect.) then he'll know your 2 master profs bh and ****** So ya i guess it is because of the timeline and it wouldn't be fair since jedi would get badges that we couldn't

Yes... This is good advice.

You don't need to examine what you can see. Treat all Jedi like they're MD/MLS's & you'll start winning.

I agree. I'm not a noob complaing that a Jedi beat me cause I wasn't prepared for his template. I was just commenting that I think it's a bit silly that while WE all have our master badges, jedi do not. The timeline thing is irrelevant since SOE decided to abandon it about the same time publish 9 hit.
